And... whys that?

they have a reputation of not honouring the vouchers and debiting your credit card for the full amount......but not until you've had the goods long enough not to be able to return them.

Littlewoods wants discount refund
Trinny and Susannah launch their new collection with Littlewoods Direct
Littlewoods sold their UK stores to Primark owner AB Foods in 2005
Littlewoods has angered internet bargain hunters by demanding that an online discount voucher be paid back to the UK retailer.

The £25-off voucher was meant for a small number of specific customers, but got widely distributed through chat rooms and consumer-saving websites.

Two months later, Littlewoods has asked those it says were not eligible for the promotion to pay back the cash.

It says that the terms attached to the offer means it is within its rights.

hot deal but wouldnt trust them with anything!

Are you talking about vouchers that were validly obtained, and the buyer entitled to use?

Or vouchers that people are chancing with?

I have rung littlewoods up, told them about the above £25 voucher and was there a possibility it would happen to me. She said no and it doesnt say anything on their records that the voucher code is for any specific customers, its for anyone with their first time purchase.
So i guess it should be ok...

You will also be bombarded with Littlewood Group marketing material and catalogues. Good deal if you are a valid voucher holder and wanting to open a home shopping account.

Changed it to the correct merchant, Littlewoods, not tomtom. Thanks :)

And when they do they send them a claim for for the outstanding sum as an outstanding debt and when they ignore that 28 days later send them a winding up letter and if they still don't respond you can legally apply to wind them up...sure the latter will cost you but you can recover the costs if you feel that strongly about it

I had the same problem. I phoned up and they said it was a glitch on the website. Ordered over the phone for £72.50, obviously no Quidco though

Unbeknown to me my wife was sent a voucher by post - she ordered and spent several weeks trying to get back the £25 they overcharged her...... so its not just internet codes.
