If you were a gamer back in 1996 and thought the original was groundbreaking. Then this is the is a fantastic piece of nostalgia and at the same time an upto date modern classic.

BTW it is only 800 points on Xbox Live marketplace to download (about £6).

Doesn't it come in two part on marketplace @ 800 points each?? and I think you need TR:Legend for it to work??

Not sure about requiring legend, but the download on xbox live does indeed come in two parts, 800 points or so each. So the deal is worth it if just for the pretty box and free hard drive space.

defeats the whole point in HUKD. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its not a good deal.

I kind of understand where you're coming from with that, however I have to disagree. I think everyone is entitled to give their opinion on the quality of a product, and just because something is cheap doesn't always make it a good deal, after all what's the point of spending £10 if it's a pile of tosh in everyone's opinion? I think Lynothehammer has done the most intelligent thing, given an opinion on the product and then not voted. Whether you agree with his/her review of the product is another thing.

I have played every Tomb Raider game apart from this one. I played the original on Sega Saturn and the rest subsequently on PC and XBox. As far as I know this game is supposed to be an updated / revamped version of the original Tomb Raider game and is a complete standalone from any other game (it doesn't require Legend as Spamdog thought). I will however buy this one (when I get a 360) to revive memories of the original which I enjoyed immensly at the time, though I can probably understand gamers these days just not 'getting' it. Here's a review

One of my favourite games of last year! I found it loads better than legend. I have it for the pc but for this price I'm going to get it for the 360 to replay it on the big screen and get some achievements. Hot deal.

Think your getting alittle mixed up If you download TR:Anniversary Episodes 1 & 2(800 Points) Episodes 3 & 4(800 Points) from Xbox Live marketplace you do need a copy of TR:Legends to run them.

I personally don't think it's worth £10, OnTheBallCity asked if it was any good ? I gave him my take on it, I didn't enjoy it, found it to be very dated and I think you can pick up a better game for £10. Now it might just be me that didn't enjoy it, but thats why i've not voted on this occasion. So no it doesn't defeat the whole point of HUKD.

If this game was priced at £5, then I might have said yeah it's a hot deal. Again this is my preference and I've stated my honest opinion. I could have just voted & not left any feedback.

Apologies....I was talking about buying the physical version, which is what the deal started out as. I hadn't realised it was veering towards downloading from Marketplace...and I don't have any experience of that.

I think now that you can buy TR:Anniversary cheaper than from marketplace but at the time if you already had TR:Legend it was cheaper to download it rather than buy the actual game, But yes it is stupid to get it from marketplace now.

Totally agree, Lynothehammer gave a opinion of the game and not of the price which is the cheapest online at the moment and also didn't vote cold because he/she didn't like the game, If more people would vote/not vote like this it would be a happier site, I think Halo 3 is rubbish but I don't vote it cold because of this.
