Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is currently $10.49 at PSN Canada. Adopting PCGameSupply's exchange rate of $20 for £11.99, that's £6.29.

Better still, using the PS+ trick, you can save a further 10% off the headline price of $34.99 i.e. $3.49. Take that from your $10.49 and that leaves $7, or £4.20. Lovely.

To get a free 2-day trial of PS+ (once per account), simply sign into your Canadian account and try to upload a save file from the Settings menu. You'll see a message saying that this is a feature of PS+; here's two days free!

Can't speak for everyone but I always vote digital games where you need a foreign account as cold. With this though, I'm guessing because it's been cheaper here already digitally, and can be bought on disc for a fiver.

It can be bought on disc for a fiver? Really? Please post a link for it as I've never seen this game on disc for PS4 or Xbox One for a fiver...

I won't rise to this too much, Nigel, but a few points:

1. Basic maths suggests £4.20 is less than £5.49 (the cheapest ever UK price). Can anyone verify my advanced algebra?

2. The current UK price is £24.99. I'm pretty certain that's more expensive than the Canadian price, but again, it'd be great if someone could verify.

3. The cheapest UK price was back in September 2016. Give us some room, please, so we can get our Delorians up to 88mph.

4. On behalf of this and all other "foreign" deals, thanks for your cold vote, sir. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to vote all physical deals cold because I prefer digital*.

*not really, because that'd be ****ing ridiculous.

My comment about the foreign deals was to do with the fact that you have to make a separate account and I'd prefer all my games to be on one account. Also in the terms and conditions of PSN Sony could actually ban your fake accounts and then those games would be gone forever.

1. You set your PS4 as the primary console for the Canadian account, and play under your UK one, trophies and all.

2. People have been doing this for years. If Sony wanted to stop us, they could. The current infrastructure almost welcomes it. It's more likely that'd they'd prevent future purchases than magically making all your existing purchases disappear.

it takes 5 mins to set up a separate account. the amount I've saved in the last year alone makes that 5 minutes worthwhile 10 times over.

It must have been a misprice as the disc version has never been that low. Either that or you're telling porky pies X)

Good job you don't speak for everyone and you'd be guessing wrong. Not doing too well with any points of your argument so far. Hot price, if didn't already have it would snap up for this price.

There's no accounting for the capriciousness of the HUKD community. The slightly-more-expensive US equivalent was going hot before it was accidentally expired. Amazing X)

You can play all your games on one account and sony MAKE you create a new account when you move to a different country. There is no way you can keep your account and switch country, sooooo you have to have multiple accounts.
