Just picked one of these up in Asda Stafford. £20 instore, £40 online. Good reviews on Amazon.

Baby Monitor with parent and child units and a movement sensor pad. You can rest assured that your baby is sleeping soundly with this Tommee Tippee Sensor Monitor. The movement sensor pad constantly detects the movement of the child and will sound an alarm after 20 seconds if the sensor pad detects no movement. You can select the level of sensitivity you would like the pad to detect.

The parent unit comes with a unique sound seeking device, so you can get rid of the background noise and hear your baby's tiniest cry. There is also a light sensor so you can turn down the sound but still be alerted by the light monitor. You can feel like you are constantly in contact with your little one.

The child unit features a soothing night light that will help your baby drift off into a peaceful nights sleep. You can also control the movement sensor pad through this unit

The monitor is equipped with a 100 meter range and is easily portable as it can be used with batteries or mains.

No way....I paid about 120 for this about 2 1/2 years ago. Great bit of kit that helps put your mind at ease during those first few months. Well worth 20. Very hot from me.
