Is that not because they are now BPA free. I noticed a difference in clarity of the bottles bought for babies 1 and 3, used different ones for baby 2. I asked a friend and she said it was because they had to make the plastic differently now.

Possibly, they used to be nice bottles now they are just terrible and look cheap and worn quite quickly. I was a bit dissapointed, i felt as if id been hooked in on good quality ones at the start and then they switched the quality.

I think it's the plastic change, don't know about you I'd rather have some bottles that need replacing more often or look a bit more scraggy than blingy sparkling ones that fill the baby with gender bending chemicals.

Heck at this price buy 2 or 3, years supply of bottles, when the 1st lot need replacing, then they start to come off them anyway:thumbsup:

I do agree, its just that other manufacturer's have done better at switching, plus these bottles are not always this cheap, they are usually closer to 3 for £12 so if TT wish to charge high prices then they should really provide a higher quality.

Its just sods law when you need them theres never a deal to be found, lol

I do wish i had started out on a cheaper more versitile brand as my daughter is used to these and refuses other bottles.
It ends up costing more too as you need a wider bottle warmer and insulation holder thing, plus the steriliser is a bad design, you can only really fit 5 in comfortably, 6 at a reall squeeze.

Its just a sort of reflect on their value over a period of time, IMO they are marketed as a higher priced range but in hindsight the bad design and poor quality lets them down, its a pity as they look good and little ones like them.

I started off with these for number 6, but I really found them frustrating. The difference between teat flow was too much for little ones and personally I hated the teats. So large and fiddly, I was always pulling them staright through in a hurry while baby was screaming. Also the lids are rubbish, a bad fiddly fit. Switched (at great cost at the time!) to Avent. Had used Avent with number2 and found the, leaky, but 8 years on and much improved. Would now choose Avent over TT anytime, whatever the price. Last longer and in my opinion easier to use.
Plastic has changed so they no longer contain BPA.

Just reserved these I'll send my 36 weeks pregnant wife down to Argos tomorrow to collect.

Try Home Bargains for a cheap microwave steriliser, they have got a Tommee Tippee one with 2 bottles (not the same bottles as these though) for £7.99.
