I was in Halfords today picking up a BMX for my son's birthday, I noticed they had the TomTom 720 on sale for £169.99.
There was a TomTom 520 next to it for I think £189.99.
Anyway, the shelf edge labels stated that the 520 had £20 off and that the 720 had £60 off.
Can only wonder why anyone would take a 520 when the 720 was actually cheaper, but hey!
I didn't bother as I got one of the Argos/Currys misprice/pricematch 720s for £153.00 at Xmas. :)
Just checked the Halfords website and the price is £188.99 less 10%, making it £169.99 online too.
I thought it could be a little cheaper from PC World with their pricematch + the 10% of the difference promise only to discover they've got it advertised for £169.99 too. :(http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?page=Accessory&sku=302563
Still Very cheap at that price for an excellent bit of kit though.
Be quick though as the Halfords 10% offer finishes 25/03/2008.
PC World price will probably increase just after.
