I paid £149 about two months ago from same seller - surprised it has dropped so much :-(

Worth it at £113.98.

It says subscription required for traffic. Anyone know what the traffics like on this one?

Not much of a bargain!

From what I read the Live Traffic server is often down, so you don't get any traffic reports or othe Live services.

Also this refurb may have old maps, so not such a great bargain when you have to buy new maps and Live Services.

Works out cheaper to buy a new one which includes 12 months Traffic and live services, and you get a Free map update within 30 days of first use.

When I bought mine it automatically updated my maps to the latest version. Although a bit peeved it did it automatically as I would have preferred the latest maps at a later time. So watch out for the updates

To be honest not fussed about the live traffic - most people have sat navs and you end up finding that quite a few will go the alternate way to avoid the traffic and subsequently causing another jam elsewhere due to the number of diverted cars!

I would also recommend buying a new one as it comes with 12 months LIVE HD traffic. I have the 940 and the traffic is generally very accurate. I have used it lots to avoid traffic jams. Also the google search with LIVE is excellent and an easy way to look up a destination if it is a business.

With the free map update you get 28 days from when you first connect it to Tomtom Home to download the latest map so keep a check in the forums at http://www.pocketgpsworld.co.uk and you can see when the last maps came out and when the new ones might appear so you can connect and update to get that map.

Oh and LIVE traffic is now £47.50 so don't buy the 12 month activation cards on eBay as people are still selling them for around £65 I think, that was what they sold for before TomTom halved the price of the service.

...Just out of interest...how do you know it is "generally very accurate"? If you chose another route, how do you know there really was a jam on your planned route?
