Ordered at this price yesterday. Although it says GB, apparently it has all of UK and Ireland on it. This is the cheapest about.

Bought one of these yesterday from Comet with a free TomTom Carry Case worth £19.99 - website is not currently showing this deal though. Whilst the price on Comet was £141.78, I actually paid £123.58 as Virgin Credit Card Holders can order Comet Vouchers with at 13% Discount from their Members Shop. To get this price it can not be ordered online or make use of the 3% Quidco discount. However, phone up Comet Direct Sales and they will reserve the item for you and dispatch once they have received your vouchers through the post. I am buying £140.00 of vouchers for £121.80 and paid the extra £1.78 on my card - free delivery as well! Thought it might be worth highlighting to any Virgin Credit Card Holders who are willing to put a little bit more effort to save a few more £s!

I'm pretty sure this unit doesn't do the safety / speed cameras and the Dixon's site has all the features listed apart from that one. The same goes for the TomTom site. I think this is a feature of the GO series.

speed cameras can be used.

Can this be used with a map of France as well ? need one with GB & France on....
#10
Just bought one from a Power seller on E-Bay fro £137.00, +£10 postage, but it is UK, Ireland, and Europe, with "safety" cameras and loads of other features. Currys special offer price for this model £199. Sure, its EBay, but it is from a very large outlet, with 2 years guarantee, etc, and I doubt that the shop would jeapordise thousands of positive feedback with dodgy gear. There are cheaper sat-navs around, but not normally with full Europe coverage. Of course, I havent actually tried to navigate to the bowels of Berlin yet, but I'm hopeful, especially after just having a traumatic week in Brussels!

Yep, I stuck a 2GB card in there and several different maps too inc Western Europe - had one of these for the last 6 months and it's great. I paid £180 so this is a very good price.

Speed cameras work perfectly too.

Is this version 1 V1) or version 2 (V2). Version 2 (V2) was released last October and is a slightly slimmer model - designed to fit in your pocket. All high street shops/websites sell the V2. I would check and see what you have been sold as £137 is very cheap. If it is a V2 then you have a genuine bargain.

Anyone flying from Stanstead (or other UK airports) can get the Tom Tom One European model for £170.20 from the Dixons duty free shop (with a case =£182.21). I just bought one.

Speed Cameras: All Tom TomV2 will allow you to update and download the speed camera database (Tom Tom are offering a free trial of the speed camera database untl 30/4/2007 which is via a voucher/code)

I think you might be right, which takes a bit of the shine off my bargain buy, but the guy does offer such a load of free extras that even if it is a version 1, it's still a pretty good deal. I hope so, anyway. Whatever happens, I'm stuck with it, and as it's my first, I daresay Ill be pretty chuffed with it.

Does anyone however know if it comes with an SD card, if so how big? If not does it have an SD slot? RSVP Thanks :D

i bought this from currys a few days ago for £141.78. it does have a sd card slot and comes with maps on a 256mb sd card. it has bluetooth too. :-( I am quite impressed with this tomtom. what i want to know that it has a promotional voucher for safety camera but doesnt say whether this feature will be there forever or for a free months's trial. very confusing. :-( :-(

Now only £130.65 delivered from Currys:

Currys price: 141.71 - less 5% discount for code yaw690 and another 3% for quidco.

Can these things get any cheaper?
#17
price without discount now seems to be £180 - so i guess it's jumped in price?

It must be an error, as Dixons have a price match promise and there are still some online retailers who are around the £140 margin

Noticed this today too, under their "offer of the week"

Should be against the law to do this, unsavy shoppers would perhaps dive on this.

Apologies for the Martin Lewis moment there :)

Well I ordered this 3 days ago and it arrived today and I've got no problems at all with it. A total bargain. My dad's got one of the expensive versions the Go something or other but this does everything that does. Thanks to the OP!!

Actually, the only thing I'm worried about is the windscreen mount as the ones that come with the GO series have an air lock on them, this is just a stick it on the screen type. We shall see....

Nope, now that the easter holiday has finished for the school kids it seems that the price has gone up for it all over the place. Just look at this...

http://www.find-tomtom-deals.co.uk/

Strangely, their script can't seem to pick out EmpireDirect's deal of £149.99 inc free del at the bottom as being the cheapest at the time of writing :?

Their was an official sale on TomTom ONE for all official distributors, unfortuantelly its ended now.Their was an official sale on TomTom ONE for all official distributors, unfortunately its ended now.

Saying that in my experience online stores have a slump in sales during UK holidays, maybe because people have more time to go shopping. Meaning you can sometimes find good short term reductions
