#5

#6

if you don't want any "frills" this is a top deal. I bought mine from Tesco.com direct in December for £84 odd with a £13 e-voucher. This beats that. Just make sure you get a sepearate mains charger for this. Charging on your computer usb is a pain, charging in-car with lead is messy and fiddly. Play.com did do a 2 in 1 travel pack for £15 something during Xmas which inc. a case and charger.

this is hot but i still think people should get the ebuyer navigo for 45 quid.
tom tom 7 only takes a 20mins
home charger costs only 6 quid extra.
my GPS lock takes only 1min or so.
£35 is a big difference

Upgradeable via a USB cable and TomTom HOME software. The same software also downloads and installs a GPS Quickfix file, so GPS lock is just a few seconds.

u have to buy the GB/EU model, as the internal memory is limited.
thats why i think the ebuyer one is better, you can put EU maps on it too. it uses the SD card

What about Littlewoods Direct. Had one delivered yesturday, £70.84 with one years breakdown assist. (An earlier thread on here).
#19
does this one include spped cameras?
#20
The Littlewoods one does.
#21
Are these things actually any good?

I've been wanting to get a sat nav for ages. Are speed cameras added by downloading something onto there? Is that easy to do?

Tomtom 7 on the ebuyer model is old though. This one will be upgradeable to tomtom 8. Not sure if the ebuyer model can be updated to tomtom 8.
