This GPS unit can be purchased new/delivered/collected from Halfords for £99.99 (listed at £109.99 new) by using discount code: B15MT09 (£10.00 off) and in addition, you can get a further 4.04% rebate by clicking via TopCashBack so that would be an additional £4.04 rebate making the total purchase price £95.95 nett. The £10.00 discount code expires on 18th December 2014, so only just over 3 days left.

The Quidco rebate is only 3% which is 1.04% less than TCB, and I'm sure you can work out which click-through site would be the most financially beneficial to you. It costs nothing to register for either site, though if you do a fair amount of on-line shopping, ALWAYS check the TCB website to see what (if any) click-through rebates there are in addition to any posted discount codes as you can use them both, but also do a Google search for any 'live' retailer codes as some price comparison websites offer these that you can't find elsewhere, so some good advice so you can save some money, and it all adds up at the end of the day!

Can anyone do better, and if so, post all the information here whether for this specific GPS unit or a higher spec model? I hope the info supplied will be helpful to anyone looking for this GPS unit. Why pay more?

I spoke to a Halfords employee about this only recently myself (in Braintree, Essex). I was told by him that the Garmin units they sell only update traffic on the Motorway's and Major A roads, whereas the TomTom does every road. Might have just been a fallacy, but I'm sure that other HUKD'ers will make comment either way.............

If you have an American Express have a look at your online statement under "offers" and you'll find £25 credit if you spend £50 at Argos by 31/12/14
