Was about to buy the TomTom 20 and discovered this deal - The package incl. the TomTom 25, a car multicharger and lifetime updates for maps.

The deal consists of a spend and save promotion on Satnavs & accessories, where spending £100 nets you £10 off and spending £20 gets you £20 off. Add the Tom Tom 25 for £99, then add the Satnav wet-wipe accessories for £1 to reduce the price by £10 to make £90 total. You could instead by a case for £5 and still get £10 off also however making it £95.

How did you get £90? Shows as £119.99 online
#2
There is a price match on the product, the link I put on states that the Satnav alone is £99 before the discount

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_931917_langId_-1_categoryId_165685?_$ja=kw:drytinder|tsid:40392&cm_mmc=Affiliates-_-PerformanceHorizon-_-drytinder-_-TopLink

EDIT: My mobile shows £119.99 in category view, but looking at the full page and basket it shows £99

I assumed it was a better as it wasn't confirmed if the lifetime maps worked?

I have a TomTom like this and it is excellent when it is being used for its primary purpose in the car.

But connecting it to MyTomTom MyDrive service via a PC to update it.... GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

But anyway, heat added, good find.

smart phone?.... stand alone sat nav is as out dated as a pager..

My smartphone has other duties on journeys (not calls).
So I suppose I could have two smartphones.

Or something cheap that was built for the job.

And don't forget those that don't use smartphones, and even those that don't use mobile phones.

I'm sure someone said last week that the Lifetime Maps offer had expired at Halfords several weeks ago. Think it was in the T & Cs but everywhere else that sells them you get the free lifetime map updates.
#12
Have people who have purchased in the last week or so - been able to get the free maps offer? TOMTOM promotions website has this from Halfords up to the 5th June for the free maps

i have a tomtom sat nav designed for my car and a high end smartphone... reason i use my tomtom is down to the fact my car will allow me to use the sat/nav in car radio to make calls. they still have a purpose.

Can i get this price together with the 15% off everything in shop this weekend ???
#15
The only place that had lifetime updates as of yesterday were Argos. Forget Halfords, the deal expired weeks ago.

Picked this up today after reserving a few days ago. Thanks OP

Got the lifetime updates on Maps, but cannot work out how to update the speed cameras without subscribing.

Also get the voucher code for registering. Anyone else had any luck?

Gave up trying to sort that out. Not sure what issues it had making friends with my PC but they didn't get along. Managed to swap back to a Navman. Update software working perfectly.

I can only see it for £109.99 on Halfords website so giving up for now.
#22
make sure you also buy a screen protector - wipes are not enough to prevent scratches etc !

I have just return Garmin 2595LMT took it on a trip where all the motorway signs were showing accidents and long delays up ahead but the garmin with tmc receiver plugged in kept showing no traffic on the route. Also Garmin has the most unintuitive GUI and voice instructions.
