Is it any good? Im a newbie and dont own one at present, but was looking at getting one x

Yes it's pretty good with lane guidance as well - bought one for my mum no so long ago
- 1 problem we had was the holder - completely lost its suction power -
Had a nightmare with their support though - worst support i have ever come across - took them 4 weeks and numerous calls and support tickets to sort it out - basically they weren't really interested - and even then sent the replacement to the wrong adress.

In the meantime bought a replcacement holder off fleaby which was much better!

and this one has lane traffic with latest map which is really good

Picked mine up from Asda the other day, and it is charging on my laptop as I write this.
The unit is very compact, and comes with the computer lead to charge and down load update's, but I haven't even taken of the screen protector yet to try it.
When you get it make sure you register with Tomtom and you will get a £10 voucher to use on T.T products, like a pra** I ordered a skin and bag for it on Play.com before I registered and it cost me £14.95, T.T site sells it for the same so I could have saved £10 If I had bought it from T.T with the voucher. The other thing is if you want a mains charger it is £19.99 from T.T, but the same genuine item can be had for £6.50 on eBay inc delivery.
Hope this helps someone.:(

Not a bad price for a basic Tomtom.

great price

Is this the start2 version.

I find the silver/white TomTom distract my eyes when driving, much rather have a black one. It's worth checking the TomTom outlet store for good deals. If you register they send you a £10 off voucher about 20 minutes later: http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/products/tomtom-outlet-store/ also can be used with quidco so should be able to get a refurbished TomTom One v4 for about £55.

Just ordered one thank you

Got one.
It will tell you when you are approaching a speed camera, it beeps and flashes the speed limit.

Finds satallites very quickly, has a great night mode, which changes the colours so that its not too bright when driving at night.

great price, ordered one for crimbo pressie. Thanks!

Hey. I got mine and its brilliant. It took me to Buxton this weekend in the derbyshire dales
Speed camera alerts are brill and the tomtom never lost signal in the dales which in my books is great :-)

Also, I registered it with tomtom and they sent me a £10 voucher. Normally I think they are a scam to reel you into spending but there is not a min. purchase amount so downloaded the £7.95 Homer voice for free :-)!

Ordered another for a crimbo present. Its brilliant.
