  I bought this model when Tesco had them at a lower price several months ago it is my first TomTom sat nav and I bought it to replace a Nav man system ....... the TomTom is a much better system and it's very reliable. And I love the XXl screen very easy to see even in brighter conditions.

  Got a GO700 that someone threw out because it would get no signal.
  
  Updated the maps on it and it works great.TomTom's are good satnav's imo

  Call me a mug if you will but I have owned 5 TomTom's. 1 was stolen. 3 stopped working. I don't use them abusively but they are not the most reliable of devices. When they work, they are the best satnav. Just don't expect to get more than a couple of years life out of them.
