Just browsing the shelves and noticed they'd done a price cut on the Tomy Babylink Monitors - great price i thought for a cheap replacement of your normal monitor, or maybe to keep at granny's even!

Showing up full price on-line, but deffo £7 (as shown in pic in first post)

Next cheapest I found is in Argos for £10.99

This is the most basic model:

Baby Link: Product Details taken from (( http://www.tomy.co.uk/products/baby-link/ ))
Easy-to-use, basic nursery audio baby monitor ideal for single circuit flats or houses.

Simply plug the baby unit in the nursery and the parent unit where you are and they transmit via the home wiring.

Plugs into any 13 amp socket around the home.
Volume control on the parents Baby Link unit has a pre-set minimum to ensure it is never accidentally turned down too low.

Bought the equivalent to these 21 years ago and only just stopped working, I use it for security i.e. listening out for any intruders near to my garage from within the house. Brilliant build quality will buy again

These are great - really handy for on holiday. Total bargain at that price...

:whistling:01.38am..finally got the pic up..

great price, but a word of advice, keep the receipt...

Some setups make these a nightmare... we had tried 3 different pairs at our house and all had a really irritating background hum, yet I've seen friends use them without an issue.

Yeah I bought these in Argos 2 weeks ago and they are crap - makes very bad interference noise all the time even when there is nothing else on. I am bringing them back :(

Are these nationwide?

I'd buy these if I didn't already have a baby monitor brilliant price heat added

great price, heat added. my tixylix just bust so need a cheap replacement, anyone got any positive feedback on this one before I get one tomorrow? just managed to get local asda to keep one aside for me!!

Great thanks, we need to get a new one. Saw some bad reviews on argos but it seems it depends on individual houses/areas whether you'll get interference so worth a try.
