The above comments are true, but this is still a hot deal, for two reasons:

1) It can be read guilt-free because the proceeds are going to a good cause (The Royal British Legion I recall);

2) It's a valuable lesson for the nation about the nature of this shyster, charlatan and chancer and his party - a party that, unbelievably after the last thirteen years, is still supported by some 28% of our fellow citizens - there are some dim people out there.

Labour.................."Things can only get better!"............................how wrong they were.
Amazing isnt it that Tony Blair should become one of the most hated prime minister of all time, "Teflon Tony" was seen as new labours "messiah" but turned out to be it's "pariah".But these days being PM is much the same as being England football manager, at some stage your going to get the sack and be hated by millions then go off to some obscure job to earn your millions.

Edited By: SHOWMAN36 on Sep 01, 2010 15:32: farted at wrong time.

To be fair, if it's a good deal, you should give it heat, whether you like the guy or not.

Heat added for a decent price....

While Blair is appearing to be doing a good deed, He actually modified the law to give himself a massive tax payback which will earn him over £1 million for attempting to wash the blood from his hands with this donation.
Hope he burns.

only his word about where all the money goes, and that's not worth much, I'm sure publisher takes a profit . Who knows what backdoor money is paid and spin off deals arranged. Cold, I don't want to support the guy in any way irrespective of money and where it goes or the price of the book

how one **** can wreck a country,i salute you blair

Like there will be anything remotely interesting in the book. The bits people want to see will not be there, most of the real stuff will be covered by official secrets ****, and therefore cannot be discussed.

So rather than go to war you'd rather we let these extremists conitue to get stronger? we have to do something......

Sadly attacking them only made their beliefs of persecution grow increasing the numbers of extremists. The 7th of July attacks in London would not have happened had Tony made the right choice.

To understand more about terrorism and its antecedents please read the following article http://www.des.emory.edu/mfp/Bandura1990MoralDis.pdf

This was discussed on The Wright stuff this morning. Not sure who I hate more.....Tony, or self rightous, pretentious, condescending , Matthew Wright!

Same price as a packet of 24 bog rolls in Lidl. Should be used for the same purpose.

Most do. If the American/UK gov tell u its true it must be true. And if theres any doubt have a public enquiry that will tell u it was true.

The war in Afghanistan was valid. Iraq was not. Saddam was a murdering tyrant who deserved what he got but that was not the grounds for war in Iraq. It was a lie based on WMD. All the Iraq invasion did was serve as a recruiting PR for Islamic extrmists and as has been pointed out 7/7 would probably never of happened if we had of stayed out. Personaly dont hate Blair. I think is someone whom had good intentions but got it very wrong over Iraq

Cheapest price so HOT - Agreed

Cold. I don't care about the price and this is the one instance I'll support piracy. I'm sure it's downloadable somewhere.

He gave the advance to the Royal Legion (tax deductible) so the only people losing out would be him and his publishers/agents.

Wouldn't buy it even if it was in the bargain bucket for 10p. Tony (there's no one like me) Blair. Baltic from me.
#26
Heat added. Most comments here have nothing to do with whether this is a deal.

Is it an unofficial sequel to (My Fight) Meine Kampf?

Blair is feigning sorrow for the Iraq war while in the same breath calling for war against Iran!?

What a gent, NOT!

Whatever comes after death, this to55er is gonna BURN!!!

If you don't mind me saying, that's an incredibly naive, simple minded opinion.

Simple and straight talking, maybe. Simple minded opinion, absolutely not!

If you honestly think global politics can be reduced to such a clichéd opinion, you have very little idea at all.

Wish it would have been two kills with one bullet, with Bush also being on the receiving end.

And you dislike him because of his violence, I assume. That's more than a little hypocritical of you.
#39
he is a lying scumbag who is responsible for the deaths of innocent people, he should be brought to trial. though i still wish someone has whacked him and Bush years ago.
banned#40
Disliking Blair should not be a reason for voting this cold.
