An all-new Tony Hawk experience created for a younger audience, Tony Hawk: SHRED allows you to "go big" and feel the exhilaration of skate and snowboarding like the pros using the game's innovative, motion-sensing board controller right at their feet.

With coin-op, arcade style gameplay and pro athletes, including Chaz Ortiz, Lyn-Z Adams, Travis Rice, Torah Bright, and the godfather of skate himself, Tony Hawk: SHRED is packed to the brim with larger-than-life moments, huge jumps and gaps, incredibly steep drops and descents, and a veritable goody bag's worth of motion activated, jaw-dropping tricks - enticing kids to get off the couch, be physically active and get immersed in the action.

For the board as well it's pretty cheap. Game ain't great, but someone will like it.

Same price on PS3 and Wii.

Be wary of Play's non-existent packaging. They just wrap it in a grey plastic bag.

I'd wait for the inevitable Amazon price match and order it from them.

Amazon have price matched, wii & ps3 only though as they are OOS of the 360 version.

It is retail boxed - just play don't double protect it with their own box...

Cool thanks, for 20 quid it looks like a good buy!

I just saw a review on YouTube, they literally threw this thing around the room and put a hole in a wall with it. It survived unscathed. So I doubt a bit of mishandling by the post office would cause it any damage.

Thanks

The one Game.co.uk sent me was a used & broken

By all accounts, this isn't fantastic, but for £20 it's a good buy. I had the first one ("Ride") and it took a bit of getting used to, but worth a crack at this price - heat added. Thanks OP.

Got a PS3 one instore at HMV yesterday for £19.99. Maybe better to try and pick it up instore. Not tried it yet.

Terrible game but good price so remaining neutral

how bad is it? Is it as good as the downhill skating games on Wii Fit for example? I am a sucker for a game with an accessory.
#13
Can't be that bad for £20........................can it?

You need quite a bit of space for all the sensors and whatnot.

Be warned!

isn't it just the board then? hows it look?

DON'T get this. God, please. I bought Ride with the board for £10 on Xbox and then Shred for £8 and they're easily the worst games I've ever played. I took them to Cex and traded them in after playing for 10 mins.

I'm not sure - I don't have one. I did look into purchasing it before, but I got put off by one of the reviews saying that you need a quite a bit of space for it. If your console is in your living room and you have enough space for similar peripherals (Move, Kintect) then I'm sure you'll be fine.

Mine PS3 isn't and I don't have enough space in my room, so I didn't bother.

Thanks - grabbed one from Amazon.

EDIT....and then cancelled it after reading reviews!

Think they may have sold out of Xbox 360 ones, seem to be offering alternative sellers now.
The Wii and PS3 versions are £19.99 still though.
#23
There's gonna be a lot of unsatisfied customers after this deal. xD

hands down worst game i have ever played. Played it for half hour then put it on ebay few days later. Made a profit though! i highly suggest reading reviews before you part with your hard earned cash guys.

Damn. Too late. Bought it, and it was delivered 5 minutes ago. I wish I'd seen your post first. Now it's sitting in the corner of my office, taunting me with the shattered illusions and realisations of wasted money that I am sure will come as soon as I unbox it and set it up.

*sigh*

A fool and his money..... ;)
