Seen this when I was in ASDA yesterday. Still £19.97 online but only £12.97 in store. Not bad for a DVD player and the customer reviews seem to be positive.

Still original price in Watford unfortunately!

You'll find a lot of deals like this, I doubt you'll see many DVD players on sale at all by the end of this year. Still a bargain though if you've not joined/don't care for the HD revolution :) lol

Good to see that One-Hit-Wonders Toploader have managed to turn their hands to consumer electronics now...

Wonder if we'll see a Living In A Box Blender soon?

Feels the same up here in Grimsby. Across all the major chains. We see so little of these country wide deals. Not for a lack of stock etc as majority of items are on the shelf just for higher prices.

I would like this DVD player. Been after a cheap USB/HDMI player for ages but can never find one that can play from my 1TB HDD.

I bought one several months ago, it performs ok as a DVD player but be warned the remote is a nightmare, you literally must hold it within 2ft of the player if you want to use it.

These top loader DVD players have always been my Achilles heel.
