I still can't get my Browser working on M3 REal, or the Soft Reset :(

Might order one of these, especially as I paid nearly 3 times this for my M3 lol

I've ordered a couple, one for my sister and one for my nephew (when he gets a new DS)

at this price, they are perfect for sticking in a full 4GB SDHC card and not having the whole "I want to switch my Britney album onto it" from my sister every 5 mins

Does anyone know of a card that works with a Gameboy Micro, I've got the R4 for my DS but I want a card that I can use in my GBM. Also is there a site that shows you how to use the moonshell app on the R4, had it for ages now, but still can't figure out how to put music and vids on it. Thanks in advance!
#7
Lucy - No idea about the GBM, but with the R$, create a folder on the SD card called "Music", drag mp3 files in.
then when you boot up your DS touch the middle button "Multimedia" then go into the music folder and select a song.

I just received two M3 DS Simply in this mornings post but these look a good alternative and dealextreme are great.
#10
How does this compare to the Supercard DS One, I was looking to buy for my son?
#11
R4DS is "OLD" Technology, why do people still like the card? It's old.

Buy an M3 Real.

people like the R4 as it is a breeze to use, and a nice simple menu. great for kids, the most likely recipient of it.

I am totally new to all this and have just bought my son a ds lite - what exactly does this thing do?

You can run homebrew applications.. aswell as some 'other stuff' (which you'll have to google for).

I myself have an old G6 4gbit, serves me well for what I use it for. Wouldn't mind getting a newer card, especially one that accepts SD cards.
#15
Ordered one of these, good price for SDHC support, just don't expect it to arrive until the new year if your ordering!
#16
Is there a way to get DS to work on a tv screen via a cable?
#17
I raised a paypal dispute for the volumerate R4 card as it has been three weeks now & it still didn't ship. They issued me with a refund within 24 hours so looks as though they had no intention of shipping them.

I ordered this TopToy card instead.

Don't really know much about any of these things - but does using this invalidate your warrantly and if it is removed from the game slot is your ds lite exactly as factory set, unchanged from its original software?
#20
it changes nothing, it's just like putting in a regular game cart.

What does the "NEW" technology offer that R4 does not? I would be interested to know. I have an R4 and it's just perfect so far. Granted it doesnt support SDHC, thats the only drawback Ive seen so far. I was after CycloDS but thats been hard to get hold off but it costs a lot more.

This is a good deal, a couple of quid cheaper than R4. If its as good as R4 then its a great buy.

I have an R4 , does anyone know if the loader and files are the same as for this card? i.e can you take out the micro sd from an R4 and put it straight into the TTDS and it just works or do you need to load in a specific loader then copy the "other stuff" over to play?

I don't know about the loader, but I would assume due to the different GUI that it would require something different.
AS for games, media and saves...they all stay the same

nothing to do with the 'deal' but does anyone know why my sons DS suddenly wont connect to my daughters or to WiFi (sorry dont know much about it) and some games wont work? is there anywhere I can take it to get it repaired? DH said probably easier to buy a new one. Ta x

I've used Minionlinestore quite a few times, used them for the original Supercard & Pass cards back in the day. Never had a problem with them, always good emails communication. Delivery wasn't always the fastest nor the slowest, but the postage prices were always very reasonable
#29
Just bought one, already have a PSP that plays ISO's however the ds games loook a lot of fun, gotta buy a DS now. Hope it's as easy as its reviews to use, these 1gb cards should hold a whole load of games

yes, there is a supercard for the gba that deal extreme also sell. Got two for my kids who have Micros and they work well, It's this one:

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1021

Edir - sorry I have the mini-SD version of this. This one might stick out a bit from the micro, the mini SD version doesn't (deal extreme also have it)

As for the R4 question, there are bound to be answers to this on the forums (google it). Try youtube also - that's where I found my original set up info.

It is really easy. I had an R4, you just drag n drop your system folder and ROMs straight onto the Micro SD card.

for people setting up R4 for the first time don't forget to add a folder on your Micro SD and name it 'Games' into which you drag and drop the ROMs as well as the other files you need to copy from the CD supplied.

One of the many set up vids on utube will show you how. e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luYr--AEoi0

I've set up quite a few R4's and have NEVER created a folder called games to put the roms into. Just drag the roms onto the card and you're good to go.
