hotter than the sun

got one for 16 quid last week and was well happy with it, people sell these for double second hand, and they sell, which i find strange!

I bought one of these a few weeks back, had no softwre etc with it , had to download something from web. but is patchy with some games not working.
Does anyone have a link to the best software for this?

Appreciate any help.

Does this support 4GB Micro SD Cards ?

I'll point out again:
DealExtreme are very hit and miss when it comes to replacing broken/missing goods, myself and several others have had unresolved problems in the past with them. Caveat Emptor - sorry, I must be Gaelic.

It allows you to play pirated games.

Which is what everyone buys them for.

Well... yes. BUT you CAN use them legaly, lots of good content out there which wont break piracy laws. For example http://moonbooks.net/ which, when used with the moonshell media player, has a whole host of free and non copyrighted material.

Saves you a fortune!

but only if you like stealing.

on the other hand, there are lots of top quality DS homebrew applications out there, and it's not too bad an mp3 player with the moonshell software installed either.

Just remember you cant trust their stock status. These cards are usually out of stock and it takes a long time to get them. I ordered a couple of a different type in december 07 and they only came this month !

They take payment immediately. You have been warned !

Also if you use the code BULKRATE you will get a tad more off the price. Only works if ordering 3 or more.

I ordered one of these last week from DX which arrived today.

Its awesome - way better than my Supercard. You download the very latest software/firmware from the TopToy website - the reason they dont ship it with a CD with software is because the very latest firmware will support the latest games and have bug fixes etc.
Below is the link TopToy website:
http://www.ndstt.com/english/download_en.htm

The included SDHC usb adapter is tiny and a bit fiddly, but it beats buying a new USB card reader that supports SDHC. It only accepts micro SDHC though, so any Standard or Mini SDHC owners will need o buy a new card, if they want - it does support normal micro SD cards.

Considering DS homebrew and backups can be quite big (some are close to 100mb) you might want to invest in a 4gb micro SDHC, although a 2gb normal micro SD will suffice.

A full review /how-to and general what it is can be found here:
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=69748#d

And for dn1990: A few days ago I found some decent prices for memory cards over at DVD.co.uk - although Play.com are also pretty good when it comes to memory.

Oh and just to add fuel to the 'its wrong' fire: Any backups you acquire, and enjoy - go out and buy them! Game developers work extremely long hours in pretty poor conditions (They can't all work for EA or Nintendo) and without our support, they cant make more great games.

Thanks have ordered although I have no idea what to do with it when it comes! I'm sure I'll work it out :)

Got it going, thanks.

TTDS is much less reliable than an r4 imho. I'd pay the extra cost.
But on price alone its hot but be prepared to wait, i cancelled my last order after waiting 2 months. Returns of faulty stock is a nightmare with deal extreme.

i ordered a few in the past but the build quality is patchy.returns of faulty stock is a nightmare with deal extreme.
I have one on the go at the mo and i have to bend it,pull it etc to get it to work otherwise it goes to blank ds boot screens. Thankfully i have an R4 as well but the save files arent compatable.

TTDS can also use bigger sdhc cards which may be attractive to some.
