Great deal for your first post, ignore the jealous types, even with a receipt people are never happy, they want to know exactly how many metres into the shop and at what height the item was at in the shop, and still don't believe people, so well done for your first deal getting a heat wave badge :)

This just cements the fact this site has went to the dogs, no wonder most users don't post deals on here anymore.

Nobody said anything like that. You, as a helper, shouldn't be making such silly comments :-)

So correct me if I'm wrong, you didn't judge the user for posting their first deal, and, I quote, "smell a rat" I must've read that wrong then my mistake.

And being a helper doesn't stop me from saying what I see, I'm not paid nor employed by hukd so what difference does me being a helper have to do with the way users are judged on posting deals and not being believed?

This site "went to the dogs" after 'MODs' started to delete deals stating:

"The seller does not meet our minimum criteria and has therefore been removed." :|

You should be making positive comments or no comments, otherwise your not helping. Saying what you see?! You've seen people ask how many metres into the shop and what height it was...really?

Give it a rest, let me help you, learn the difference between "your" and "you're", there you go, I helped you.

staff sale by chance? is that why the black bits under everything to hide the discount? any other stores in the country showing any stock? or is it really hens teeth with old stock someone hid at the back of the cupboard for months.

this was the period it was sold for £69.99, not the offer expiry..

Even if they are staff the discount is only 10% and it clearly states the price as £29.97 before any discount is applied anyway. Occasionally they run 50% off clearance offers to shift stock that's been discontinued. I'd guess that's what this is. Heat added.

Why black out the staff name though, unless op is the staff member?

I see people ask this question all the time and as far as I have seen it has never been answered, but I'll try again. Where did you get a high enough resolution image that you're able to read that date from it?
#28
Well done OP but almost certainly a one off on clearance. I've had some fantastic deals in Currys recently in their clearance sale but didn't post as they are almost certainly one offs too. Worth a look if you're passing though.

I couldn't agree more with you. Most of those wanting proof and moaning are also normally the types of don't come back and say thanks when they get one.

I know!!!!!! There must be some way of accessing the original image uploaded, because there's no way you can zoom in on the 150x150 thumbnail and read that date clearly. Noone seems to want to share how.

Pretty sure I can comment how I see fit, but as for "making positive comments" you'll be able to read the positivity I gave to the user for sharing a deal, not putting the user down because they've not posted something to your liking, but you make sure to have a good night as you're obviously an expert on here.

.97 is a clearance Item so you will be lucky if you find one. I wouldn't go rushing out to Currys to get one as you are unlikely to find it. But if you happen to be near the shop it would be worth a look.

@hc4eva....

dbhoy is a helper on here, they clearly have done that by politely encouraging users that share deals (hardly surprisingly they are doing their job as an unpaid helper). You on the other hand lambast this deal as being suspicious because it is the first deal that someone has posted in 6 months of being here.

The way I see it, as I am sure others in this thread do, I think you need to give it a rest your comments are not exactly conducive for positivity whereas dBhoy's clearly are.

Food for thought......

Clearance items are usually snapped up by staff before the shop opens in the morning. when the PLA hits and the tickets are printed usually any bargains are then stashed by the staff and either purchased right away or kept until further price drops.
