Not disimilar to above, at least the cpu is 64bit, looks a decent deal to me.

The cpu is 64bit what you talking about?
I bought a similar model 2 weeks ago from the bennetts electrical show for £320. £30 cheaper than there store sale price, the big difference is windows 7 installed and 64 bit, also included was the free remoovable dvdrw drive offered by toshiba
Overgrown netbook.

Available not refurbished for £329.99

Mildly suprised at the underwhelming response to this deal. I just wish at times, that the critics and cold voters would take the time to explain the reasons behind some of the views expressed and votes given. I do admit that Windows xp would be the only potential weak spot for me. The rest is entirely positive. This Toshiba ultra-portable knocks spots of most, if not all atom netbooks. As for being a refurb, I've personally purchased three refurb computers from Argos clearance in the last 12 months and all were delivered in A1, mint condition showing no signs of previous use. As for the Tosh:

1) the test scores the Atom N450 at 321points, the N270 at 304 and the SU2700 at 449 (approx 50% better).
2) 13.3" size hi res screen with hdmi out connection. Can play and output to a tv, 720p HD movies with ease.
3) Small form factor, exceptional battery life and highly portable at 1.7kg weight.
4) Gorgeous design and build quality.

This deal is obviously not for everyone and people are quite righly entitled to their own opinion. But i do think that unqualified and sometimes ill informed negativity is putting some people off from giving the Toshiba the proper consderation it deserves - which in my book is a real shame and a disservice to fellow HUKD'ers. But C'est la vie and all that, onward and upwards to the next hot deal.

As the tumbleweed blows across this deal, if an interested buyer does happen upon this thread, it may be of interest that Argos Retail stores sell this item brand new for £329.99 (collect or free delivery). At the mo there is also a £10 voucher offer for all purchases over £100. Both the argos retail and the clearance websites describes the T130 as coming with windows XP operating system. However, numerous Argos customer reviews for the T130 all state that their machines came with Windows 7 pre-installed - NOT XP. Sort of implies that the description is wrong and therefore refurb models may also come with Windows 7 pre-installed. Worth checking with the seller beforehand me thinks.
Delivered this afternoon in pristine condition with windows 7 home premium.
Thanks. Heat added
there was a link posted in another thread that some models may have a fault

from the Toshiba website

would Argos outlet give a refund if you got an affected one

Looking at the Toshiba wbsite, this particular model ref is Ti30-11H and the part number PST3AE-00W00MEN. I personally would not purchase unless the Argos clearance outlet specifically confirm in writing that the computers on offer, are unaffected. Doing a quick google, the issue was first identified in September 2010, so if i had purchased one after that date and it needed to be recalled, l would demand a full refund as the goods as sold were clearly not fit for purpose.

TBH, given this new information, my advice is AVOID. Plenty of other deals out there without all this hassle.
