The Toshiba 15VL64 is the perfect, bargain-priced, portable LCD TV with a myriad of uses. Weighing just 4.4KG, the 15VL64 is truly portable and ideal for use when staying away from home for sometime. With a built-in stand the Toshiba LCD is easy to position or, if you prefer, a simple VESA fitting allows for simple wall mounting.

A high resolution screen with digital noise reduction and, for a portable, an excellent brightness figure of 400cd/m2, gives the baby Toshiba a superb picture quality that's full of detail - even when watching close up.

Nicam stereo and pseudo surround sound boost the audio quality and there's a headphone socket for the option of private listening. Other sockets include twin SCART sockets, component and PC - which makes the 15VL64 the perfect dual use monitor/TV.

Beautifully styled to emphasise the sleek nature of the set, the Toshiba 15VL64 is a no-brainer, pure and simple.

seems a nice price, but theres no mention of the resolutions supported on your post.

Personally I'd never ever by a non-widescreen TV or monitor, not even at this size, but I'm sure some people would disagree with me!
#2
Added full spec to the post.

Agree with videone to an extent, but as a TV for my kitchen, its idea.

Some specs here:

Edited......got there before me,

Is 1024 x 768 really high resolution or was it considered High Res when this model was released?

I'd agree that to buy a non widescreen today it would have to be rock bottom.

Is less that £100 not cheap for a flat panel then?

No Freeview, no widescreen. Hmmmmmmmm.

Am I being dense, its less than £100 for a cheap and cheerful TV to chuck in your kitchen or any other place you choose. Sure its only 720p, sure its not widescreen and yes it has no freeview.... but its not even £100.....

in 6 months I think I would regret buying it, it's already obsolete.

I think people are forgetting the fact its a Toshiba, and not some generic imported junk that doesnt come with the support of big name manufacturers.

No HDMI, No component, no dvi, its not HD ready.
OK little tv for kitchen or kids bedroom.

I'm thinking of using this as a photo-frame. Much better than a lot of dedicated frames in terms of size and connectivity, not to mention the price.

Good deal. Richer Sounds might as well just send HUKD their VIP pricelist tho'
