Why would it? I can't imagine many bothering with a HD box on a 19 inch TV TBH.

Good price OP, voted hot.

Same! On the lookout for a small LCD tv, but this is a little too small. Fantastic price though!

This is £129.99 on Amazon, who I have dealt with and no problems. I have not used Play before. Are they as good as Amazon for service and delivery etc?
I want one for grandsons bedroom.

Every bit as good as Amazon in the experiences I've had in buying from them.

So If it goes wrong in first 12 months, surely it is covered by a 12 month warranty?

Not in my experience - they're a bunch of muppets who can't string an email together.

I got a 19in Toshiba tv from Tesco for around £100 a few months ago - not sure if it exactly the same model and Tesco no longer do it. I know the lower size Toshibas tend to get poor reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture. The Freeview menu is a bit annoying - changes channel as you move down it.

My only concern about this deal would be ordering from Play. In the last couple of years I think their customer service has gone way down. Returning electrical stuff can be a nightmare - they are legally supposed to refund postage but getting it from them is often difficult. If there is a fault they will take the item back and keep it for weeks to 'repair' it. Don't expect an immediate replacement or refund. I just don't get electrical stuff from Play anymore as it's too risky.

With a bit of luck Amazon might price match today or tomorrow.

Currently having a nightmare trying to return something to play.com

After 3 weeks of trying and getting nothing but incoherent emails (the latest below) I've given up and wrote to my credit card for a chargeback against them.

however your request was already been forwarded to the right department,

Back up to £129.99 now.

Oh dear! Those who hesitate................. Instead of sitting and thinking, 'should I?'
Perhaps another bargain will come along.

Its a good price, BUT I learned my lesson with regards to faulty goods from Play.com a couple of years ago, It is only 28 days warranty with them, after that your in for a nightmare if anything goes wrong with regards to electrical goods, there customer service is a shambles now, with TV's Ill only buy from UK sellers, mainly getting John lewis to price match if possible.
Heat for the price, but fcking freezing if you get it from Play, ask Richer sounds to match it.

How annoying is this TV!? It gets stuck after changing the channel and renders the remote useless for about 20 seconds...

Anyone else had problems?
