Seen the 500GB USB 2 one posted but this is also a great Price.

A great storage solution that's also highly portable from Toshiba. The STORE.E Basics portable hard drive comes in a lightweight design offering efficient transfer speeds with data (to and from), thanks to SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology. With a spacious 1000GB of storage, you can keep a secure hold of all your multimedia files. With impressive transfer rates, the STORE.E Basics is also USB 2.0 compatible to support other operating systems. Ready to go, the Toshiba 1000GB hard drive does not require any software installation.

Far better deal than the 500Gb USB 2 one

50/50? .. £4 difference .. one has a more Protective 'Metalic' Body! .. & one does not? .. so ..... :-(

Yep! lool. :-)

This one is USB3 so much faster if you have USB 3 ports available on PC/Laptop etc.
#4
I'd rather have 2 X 500gb drives than 1 x 1tb. Safety in case of failure. And allows me to use one for everyday use and one for "adult" use :-)
#5
The 500gb one is also usb3. Going by the model code.

If you buy 2 or boost your basket to over £75 on electronics, there is an extra £10 off using this code TDX-WPTY
Full list of codes here:http://www.tesco.com/direct/page/money-saving-ecoupons.page?icid=homepage_cybermondaybanner_slot1

So? That's another £20 and you might not need the extra room.

Also the WD one is not a standard SATA drive inside so no good for people that want the drive from inside for other use.

I'd rather have 2x1TB drive rather than 1x2Tb drive. Both for adult use.

There, fixed that for you

Have this and it failed. Prefer to have multiple smaller drives, less risk of loosing everything at once.
#13
Great deal for me, ordered, thanks!
#14
Have this and it works fine, great for Xbox One just plug into a USB port.
#15
As the 500gb has sold out, looking at this one.
Does anyone know the length of the USB cable, I'm going to hook it up to a TV so a short cable would have it dangling in mid air

You can use a standard spare microUSB lead if the supplied USB3 lead is too short, your tv is almost certainly only USB2 so the loss of USB3 speed would be irrelevant

Normal price, not really a deal without Clubcard Boost unless buying from Tesco offers you some advantage/convenience.

You are a cold turkey to put all your turkey eggs in one basket.

Thanks for the reply.

Which is better to buy, this or the Samsung M3?
I'm thinking this one, as slightly easier to pick up and also return if something goes wrong?
#20
Says £50 on the site.

I was needing a couple of 1TB hard drives and having grown tired of looking for a deal, I just bought two with the £10 off code, to make them £35 each. sorted. :D
#24
They have increased the price to £50 making it ice cold.
