You can get the seagate 2tb desktop hard drive for around £55ish, for which should do the same thing as this!

Guys....can someone give some advice to merchantman on this please?

I don't know that much about this type of thing so it would be wrong of me to offer advice. What I do know is that I purchased the Toshiba one you mention for my son. He is a big gamer and he uses it to store games etc....and has been very happy with it for that purpose. Sorry I cant be of more help (_;)

all the hard drives do the same thing at the end of the day which is store data, but some hard drives now do all these 'security' or 'cloud backup' etc etc.. If the security bit doesn't bother you at all, then go for the cheapest one, otherwise pick a one with some security software on it.
