  Would this TV be ok to hook up a laptop and watch movies / play games on? Im looking for something for the bedroom to hook up my laptop too as im sick of watching dvds on a 15" screen!

  but wouldn't this LG one be slightly better? as it has 1600:1 contrast. also it's only £369 + 11.50deliver - 3%QC - £5off HUKD voucher.

  Just to offer some balance on this. I had one of these and ended up sending it back - despite its good reviews in the press.
  
  I thought the picture was rather bland, and all the colours washed out - despite playing with the settings on almost every level. It also suffered the dreaded buzzing backlight problem - a problem consistent with these TV's. I also thought the black levels were quite poor. Tried a number of movies, on upscaling DVD player - and the picture was poor to say the least. If it was PC use you want it for - it doesnt do 1:1 mapping (LG do I believe?).
  
  Aside from that, it is a good price for a high rated TV. But please do your research - there is LOADS on other forums about these tellys. I ignored the criticism, and got carried away with the hype unfortunately.

  because its not the wlt model. The wl model doesn't have freeview and misses something else as well.

  think you'll find the wlt66 has a digital receiver built in where as the wl66 doesn't

  Does this TV also work as a monitor for a desktop? I know the newer 32c3030d model does but i would like to know if this model does to?
