Not designed or made by Toshiba. Made by Vestel. Hence the poor review score. Cold.

Which? have tested over 180 currently available TVs. They spent 6 weeks putting this bogus 'Toshiba' through the same tests that all TVs undergo.

It scored only 40%. It's rubbish. If a thousand people give it 5 stars on Amazon, it will still be rubbish... "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the public"
