What's confusing? You can now order online through Best Buy instead of just purchasing in the shops, it is an online opening offer, therefore a online deal, and therefore national.

There is already a post with all the Opening deals

Why expired?? Good deal for a branded telly!

Not sure why expired - still on the site. And 10% Quidco too.

I can't find any reviews of this model - possibly rebadged for Best Buy. It looks similar to the refurb Toshiba 32 in on the Argos ebay clearance store for £219. They also do a full HD new Toshiba 32 in for £250.

We have a small Toshiba tv which we are happy with but the budget bigger sets seem to fare poorly in reviews.

This has not expired. It is still available online.

now 10% quidco!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have any reviews on this TV? I am considering my first HD TV (well 720p I know not full 1080p) and was thinking this is a good deal for £200 or so after topcashback at 10% but how good is the quality of picture, etc. Since it has USB - does this mean I can play movies/content from my laptop?

Yes same question here too. It would be fab if it was a media player also.

I'm surprised this isn't much hotter, I can't see any 32" TV's under £200 (after Quidco) anywhere...

Ordered this and getting delivery on Monday, won't be able to check it though as its from Santa

Has anybody actually received one of these? Are there any reviews for this telly?

I think the main reason why this TV isn't getting more heat is because nobody knows how good this telly is. All we need are 2-3 good reviews and this deal will get VERY hot. I cannot place an order for this telly until I've seen reviews of this thing.

Do most TVs with built-in Freeview output an analogue signal via Scart for recording on an external device?

I've just realised that if replace my TV I may not have any means of recording until I buy a PVR.

I'm aware that I won't be able to watch and record different channels, and I'd have to set the tuner and leave it on while recording, but I'd still like to at least have a basic method of recording something using my existing equipment until I replace it.

Well TV arrived Today, but it went straight up into the loft, so won't know quality till Santa brings it down on xmas morning, its only for the kids room for xbox and freeview.

Would it not be prudent to test the TV out before you store it away for a month? This way, if you find any defects, you can sort out a replacement before boxing day.

had an email back from toshiba regards this telly this might help a few people

Thank you for your recent email regarding the Toshiba 32KV500B.

Details of this television can be found at the following web address :-

http://www.home-entertainment.toshiba.co.uk/Regza-LCD-TV/30-39-LCD-TV-screen-size/32-LCD-TV-BV-Series/?showBy=size

You will probably notice that the model numbers are different. Best Buy advertise our 32BV500 as the 32KV500 for marketing purposes only. There are no differences between them both as the models are exactly the same

The BestBuy website says
"USB connectivity also enables you to view photos, watch digitally stored movies and listen to music directly on your television."

The Toshiba website says
"USB connectivity also enables you to view photos and listen to music directly via the TV.."

So can you watch movies via USB or not!!
