Toshiba 32 TV 1080P - 32XV635D - £234.99 @ Costco

Toshiba Regza 32XV635D

This TV is 1080P, 100hz and comes with a 5 year warranty!

This may be store specific to the Thurrock branch. The person serving me told me it has been reduced to this price until the 3rd of May because of the Best Buy store opening nearby.

You need to be a Costco member to get into the store and buy, so this deals not for everyone.

I'm thinking I might return the one I got from Best Buy and keep this one!

£450 at Richer Sounds.

pipe down you idiot, an LED is an LCD with a different backlight.
#3
This is a great deal. Is it available mail order?
What's the easiest way to join costco?

so sounds like a good deal in theory but at £235 + £25 (as i never shop in costco)

it works out like £80 more than the best buy deal so I think I will stick with that

(I know many people would happily pay £80 for the 1080p but as I bought 3 it would work out costing me too much)

Heat Added.

I can confirm this is only currently a deal offered within Costco Thurrock, but as other Best Buy Branches open within the UK, Costco are due to match (or better) any deal offered by "Best Buy."

also note that "£234.99" is the price INCLUDING VAT.

I'm not sure what Best Buy's return policy is also, but i doubt they offer a 5 year guarantee within the price, and the TV they're offering is 50hz, where as Costco's is 100hz.

Fantastic TV (have 42" model), better picture than my 50" Samsung 551 HD and SD. Bargain.

I'm not sure what Best Buy's return policy is .

14 day return policy, not sure if the will return once the box has been opened. Costco's is 90 days.
#12
edited.

90 days is only for bringing it back to the store
i believe the 5 year warranty is also honored by Costco, any repair/replace issues are all handled by Costco

14 day return policy or 1825 days ....

No brainer :D

Your post makes no sense, you'd need spend more than a little bit

Which magazine review summary-

Pros: Low power use and effective light sensor

Cons: Lacklustre picture quality, motion issues on HD, crude sound

Based on your posts in other threads, you don't.

Or at least you didn't until a whole bunch of people told you how silly you were.

Good deal for a TV - shame I'm no where near the store.

Nonetheless, less than £240 for a well-branded 1080p panel is pretty damn good...HOT

earlier model than the best buy model

How is this deal hot if the best buy deal is £50 cheaper????

so now we post things that are more expensive than retail and expect heat :)

goto PC world in lakeside - they have a tosh 32 @ the same price that best buy is selling. this deal stinks
#31
Does this include a wall bracket? if not anyone recommend a good cheap fixed bracket?

hey mate
i have this TV currently and it is rubbish...the other night it literally blew up in my face while i was watching Heroes.....even the Heroes couldn't save my TV!
I think the good old box TV's are better! so much more reliable than these fancy flat/slim ones!
Also, did you mean Tesco...rather than Costco?
Sorry if im a little annoying...I never really use this site!
This mate I have told me to check it out so i have

This was 1080p.
This was 100hz.
This has audyssey eq, dolby volume, dolby plus etc.
This was a new model.
It retails above £450.
You are a fool.
