Think this a top deal, a wicked TV from one of the best brands for a great price. I've only recently seen this on ebuyer for £379.99 but thats out of stock now so this is the next best deal. Sorry if this is a repost, just can't find this deal on here after a bit of searching.

Please add heat!!
Thanks.

I just spotted this myself and was about to post...

Good deal but never ask for heat to be added...........bad etiquette. People will add heat if THEY think its a good deal.
I think this is hot and voting so.
#3
please if you vote cold, state your reason.

Because you asked for heat and reasons for voting cold. It's a good deal though LOL ;-)

Anyone got an opinion on how this compares to either the Sony KDL-32S300 or Samsung LE32R87BD ?

Or has seen them running along side each other ?
#6
ia m waiting for this as well.

How does this compair to the Vistron models you can find on Ebuyer, for around £300 ?

eg. ( http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131917 )

You could have a look on the avforums http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=155
The other budget models Hannspree, Orion etc had very mixed reviews. I would imagine the Vistrons to be similar.
The previous Toshiba model the 32c3030db was very higly regarded. Don't know about this new model though.....

To answer the question about comparisons........

I found the Samsung to have a FANTASTIC picture (after you fiddle with settings) but the sound was awful. If you have a separate system then this is of no concern.

The Tosh (featured here) has a similar picture quality, but the sound is much better.

I have no info on the Sony but they are highly regarded.

But for the price, this is a great deal worthy of investment

If you are after a Toshiba, have a look at this one from Play.com for £399
http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/5217162/Toshiba-32-32C3031D-HD-Ready-Freeview-Widescreen-LCD-TV/Product.html
For the extra £20, you get higher specs and PC input.

Voted hot!

thanks pet2000, that one looks better O_O

I bought one of these ebuyer toshiba 504 and overall very pleased with it. The SD picture is very good I think due to the Standard TV up-scaling that this set has. The blacks and whites in the picture are very good, after you have played with the settings a bit. The only down point is with fast motion and slight blockiness appearing. Not bad enough that anyone else really notices it but sometimes I do.

There is no vga port as someone asked but you can connect a computer with a dvi to hdmi cable.

The sound is very good considering the size of the speakers. Quite impressed.

is this better than Sony kdl U 3000?
#19
I bought one of these exactly a week ago from ebuyer for the same price, have to say that it is an excellent tv. I only really use it for playing the 360 on, but I'm glad I made the purchase!

Had my Sony KDL-32S300 for a week now and have to say it is brilliant. Read many reviews and comments about Tosh/Samsung and Sony and still to come accross any bad reviews for the Sony.

Think it stinks that you beg for heat, like some praise seeking puppy. Voted cold for desperation. Good deal though.

"Oh please please add heat to my deal so i can get to the front page and rule hukd!"

i just asked simply for some heat, i hope you get an infraction.

Don't be too hard on the OP - I suspect many people voted this cold for the same reason. Thats why you should never ask for heat - members will vote cold instead!

1366x768 means only 720p not 1080i/p, and not much use as a computer monitor (even if you had an hdmi to dvi cable).

Voted cold - I don't like beggers.

:p

If a deal is HOT then people will vote as they see appropriate.... begging for (or even mentioning getting 'heat') is sad and unnecessary.

It's a bit pathetic that people are voting cold just because the original poster asked for heat. Isn't the point of this forum to bring good deals to the commnity's attention? By voting cold you're spiling it for everyone not just the original poster.

what??!! are you an idiot??? Right i think i'm just going to stop posting deals completely because of this, some of you voting cold just because i asked you to vote hot are just plain sad. If it's a good deal you're supposed to vote hot no matter what i say. I repeat again this is only my 2nd deal posted, lighten up!!!!

No, not an idiot. Just stating the obvious (as others posts seem to agree). As I said before, if the deal is hot, it will show by itself. Whether this is your first, second or 100th post is irrelevant as far as I am concerned.

Do you honestly not see how shallow it is asking for heat or rep? does it actually matter at the end of the day? the point is the deal itself, not how many brownie points or coloured spots you can have under your name. By begging for heat, just makes you look an ar5e and people are voting cold as a result.

Out of interest, were you one of those annoying kids at school with the "pick me .. pick me!!" attitude when lining up for football team selection ...? :giggle:

I think you need to grow up a little, you're not in the playground now.

Look, people who seek attention due to supercilious egos tend to needle denigration amongst society. Pugnacious reaction will exacerbate in further belittlement. Psychological research shows that such self-image is evidential of a difficult upbringing and/or lack of education.

It is your prerogative to threaten repudiation to post forthcoming deals but forums like this thrive on people helping one another rather than individuals posting using your modus operandi. If I could vote Absolute Zero (or zero Kelvin or -273 degrees) I wouldn't vacillate in doing so.
#33
what i don't get is how you look at what i'm posting then vote cold when you know that obviously the deal deserves heat. This IS hotukdeals, stop looking at what i post, make a judgement on the deal, vote and walk away.

If it is "obvious the deal deserves heat" then why beseech others to vote hot? However, you're not the only perceptible grandstander here.

How do we vote if we "stop looking at what i post"?
#35
Good deal - voted hot.

ummm let me think.....by clicking on the link to the deal, judging whether or not it's a good deal and THEN voting, it's quite simple really....

Oh dear oh dear. Incongruity in your comments do you no favours at all. Do you actually read your own comments?

Remember, humility and magnanimousness are very well respected traits.

First appropriate comment you have constructed tonight! I'm sure that will boost your ego!

By the way, the TV is very good. It produces deep blacks and passes all the banding tests. Unfortunately, the posting has been undignified by the fixation regarding brownie points and exhibitionist comments.

i don't really care about brownie points you idiot, i just thought its a good deal and posted it.I think i should be deserving thanks and not hate for atleast posting it to the masses...
