Also, should be said that just using the AW10 code won't get you the 3% quidco cashback, for that you have to go through the site...
Incidentally, I notice that the Toshiba UK website spec for this tv DOES NOT list SRS Wow. Between Dixons and Toshiba themselves I know who I believe...
This is £449 at Currys so with their price promise you can get it for the same price +10% off making it £340.19! :w00t:

can this be done?
can this be done?

Nope, Curry's won't match Dixon's online prices
A good TV, although ugly as sin when compared to other LCDs in the range, unfortunately.

correct and i have tried more than once
Thanks to pondrew i already posted this, never went hot for some reason though - great bargain and a great TV. Looks good to me, perhaps the Samsung's look better but the sound on them is very c**p.
I'm interested in getting this. I've a Humax pvr and I'm sure I read somewhere a while back that there may be issues between the pvr and the built-in freeview?

Can anyone enlighten me please? Thanks.
It's a great price....but its not a great TV - better than the 'no brand' makes but distinctly average in terms of performance compared to the best 32" TVs.

The two main annoyances are:-

1. The amount of motion blur during fast motion sequences. It doesn't have a 100Hz engine, 24fps, or the motion fluidity you'd get from the Panasonic plasma based flatscreens. If you want alot of football/rugby its NOT a good TV giving the amount of camera panning going on during a match.

2. Changing channels is SLOW! It takes a second or two to change channels which becomes irritating. Using the Guide button is faster but obviously you don't get to see the pictures....
Neither of the codes work for me are they now expired?
Delivered today, looks great on the bedroom wall.
this is a nice set, picture doesn't do justice.
Does anyone know how much the frequency is?

As I'm looking for a tv that supports 60Hz or higher for my Xbox-360

Thank for the reply
