The TV has received good reviews. Now is probably the best time to purchase before they increase the price.

They've been this price almost a month.

I'd be tempted to wait a few more days to see if he reduces them again ....

Graded tv, yuk! Better off looking for a new one the same or slightly higher price rather than someones used / returned tv.

Where do you find the good reviews for this tv by the way?

Score 40% (just 1% away from "DON'T BUY" status)

Not designed or made by Toshiba. Designed & made by Vestel. Hence the typically poor review score.

I have repaired many Vestel products with hitachi/toshiba etc on them. They are cheap because ...they are cheap! Inferior builds and components compared to proper branded builds. It really is worth paying a little extra".

Which magazine did a test a few months ago of the power usage of a "cheap" TV and a lower power branded TV.

They found over 4 years the extra power used by the cheap TV, even when it was off, came to hundreds of pounds.

So buying a cheap TV can actually cost you more money in the long run than buying an expensive TV.

Guilbert... I think you mean 'in standby ' rather than 'off'. When you switch a TV off at the mains (as would be recommended) it can't use any power. Whatever TV you have you must be watching far more than is healthy if the bill over 4 years issue hundreds of pounds more than another model.
