I have this tv and paid nearly £600 for this when it first came out. It is an excellent TV and well worth £399. I got mine itnerest free and have to pay for it in February - i'm gutted. We're even thinking of buying it at this price as a gaming tv (kids will be getting a Wii for Xmas)
Absolute bargain and dead easy to set upThere's probably some vouchers kicking around and i do belive that they have a 2 for 1 Vue pass thrown in for the price/.
Also buy something cheap to take it over £399 and you get 5% off. Don't forget quidco (not sure how much they're giving at the moment)

This tv is out of stock in Dixons, Currys and PC World now, all at £399. I was after buying this television, does anyone know if they are likely to re-stock?

available in the ME12 postcode

Bought this a few hours ago from Dixons, the 5% off code didn't work for me though. They're out of stock again now though!

This telly is a Sale Only special - when the stocks are gone, they're gone. The stores all had big stocks (the trowbridge branch had 30+ on Boxing day and have all but sold out now), but there will be no forward orders. In a few weeks, the only ones of this telly will be returns or items held for sale on creidt but not taken up.

I think most of the stores are trying to sell up to the 32" samsung at £499.

Purchased this TV about 10 days ago from Empire direct. Was £404 including delivery + 2% back with Greasypalm. Paid a extra £19.99 for 3 years guarantee. Excellent buy. Best price I can find now is £385.01 plus £9.99 delivery from digitaldirect http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk/products_moreinfo3/index.asp?product_id=14108

I have one of these in my bedroom and it's a fantastic set. I've attached it to the wall with this wall mount from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fixed-mount-bracket-Plasma-screens/dp/B000I0TD3M/ref=pd_bbs_6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198792312&sr=8-6

Feel free to PM me if you need more advice on the wall mount.

Any more discount codes for Dixons?
#17
empiredirect and most online stores are doing this for the same or similar prices, along with Panasonic and Sharp models etc. Good for instore but nothing special.

I just hope they send me my 42" toshiba for 70 squid more. Fingers crossed.

There's a massive thread somewhere on here all about that... For the life of me I can't find it now, but it is 2:25am so I'll have another try tomorow.

Sadly egg is only 3 letters long and the search fields don't accept 3 letter words!:x

Does anyone know how long it takes for Dixons to send their "3rd email" of confirmation of the order? It has been almost 6 days since I ordered the tv, and they haven't even told me when it will be delivered

I ordered a PVR from Dixons on Christmas Day and received my confirmation of despatch yesterday (together with tracking number). I guess it depends on the product you ordered.
As for the comment about Egg - I ordered through Quidco and paid using my Egg card. I got the instant cashback on Egg and the Quidco is tracking. I didn't go through the Egg webpage link.

Anyone received the tv yet? What do you think of it?

Received mine about a week ago, easy to setup and brilliant picture, I recommend it.
