Empire Direct are doing a fantastic deal on an excellent Toshiba LCD TV.

The TV is £499 free delivery or collection. If you purchase an EdExtra card for £19.99 you will get 3 year warranty free, if you buy through Google Checkout it will cost you

It gained 5 star review from WHAT Hi-Fi.

come on then techie this any good?! :p
Personal preference. I saw it in a few local electronic shops and wasn't impressed but then those sets might have been badly tuned

The set is supposed to be really good, especially with colours. The Toshiba WLT68 is worth a look too, bit more expensive though
This digital direct place is cheap... but when you add on the cost of a warrenty Empire Direct wins by £20. My last tv lasted less than 3 years... I wouldn't buy a tv without at least a 3 year warrenty now... Handy to remember Nationwide credit cards give you an extra year too.
Great TV,bought one myself a few weeks ago,go to John Lewis and pricematch with ED and get a 5yr warranty and a rock solid customer service.
I got this TV yesterday, havent had chance to fully test it but from what I did test the quality was unbelieveable.

The thing with LCD's is that SD picture is never going to look as good as CRT, its pretty much the same on LCD monitors for your computer. Its really personal preference, some people hate the ghosting that can effect games/fast moving images.

As someone else posted above Empire Direct are £20 cheaper than DD, I've done some extensive research on HD TV's and found that this set was the best one for the best price.

Dont think the free 3 year warranty will last forever though, so if you want one I'd get one soon.
