£205 for a 32" TV and it's going ice cold. Makes no sense?

I remember back when CDiscount were around and a deal for an unheard of 32" Nordmende telly (which I still have) went super hot and it was £250 or so.
Alright this isn't going to blow anyone away, but for someone on a budget? Steal. I hate it when people leave silly unfounded initial comments and it causes a deal to go freezing.
Have some heat OP.

My 1st post. I don't like Renault's (past experience) but if somebody posted one at a good price I would vote hot, not cold due to a personal dislike of a brand!

Despite I returned mine to best buy as its picture and usb features were rubbish this is still a good price for the TV and probably cheapest price around, so in line with the name of the site I will add heat.

And how would you know that my comments are unfounded?? Do you live in my back pocket? Ive had 3 Toshiba tvs in the past as another user has posted there RUBBISH. Id much rather spend a little extra a get a different brand. Also Users on this site have the ability to vote without taking into account any comments posted just like yours.

Ive had a few Renaults and theyve been OK, id probably just not bother voting if a question like that came up. On the other hand I wouldnt vote hot because its a good price as my experience would tell me that something expensive would and is bound to go wrong, which would make the inital deal you voted HOT very very very cold.

Because it's all relative. You won't even get an unbranded/chinese 32" TV for under this price, so to vote cold because it isn't your personal preference isn't really fair IMO.
For example. I don't like certain phones... i.e. the HTC Wildfire - I'll respond and state my reasons, but I won't vote it cold because what's crap to me, isn't crap to others. If it's the cheapest around then surely it's hot? Or at the worst 'luke warm' (i.e. "meh")

This has 9/10 from user reviews on reevoo so it can't be that bad? http://www.reevoo.com/p/toshiba-32kv500-32bv500

If a £200 HDTV was posted two years ago this deal would go red hot. I think some under-appreciate the value, given that tax has also gone up since then...

I also sent mine back yesterday, it had a fault and I was far from happy with the picture and user interface, crap TV to be honest. They're supposedly not even made by Toshiba either they just brand it Toshiba.

I spent the extra £40 on an LG 32LD450 from Amazon which is better by miles! There's also a Samsung LE32C530 recently posted. I'd advise anyone thinking about buying this "Toshiba" to give it a second thought and to save an extra £40-50 for a better, branded TV.

As Krato states this model isn't made by Toshiba. Currys have this design of TV under 2 brands Toshiba and Digihome, both are identical in every way bar the power LED on the front, one is dead centre the other to the right. Odd thing is they are both more or less the same price £270 ish

I can't remember where I've seen it, but I've came accross it in a couple of places- the V in KV stands for the manufacturer, Orion used to make Toshibas before 2008, but theres another company beginning with V. Also a TV repair engineer was posting on a forum stating that they have cheap PCB's which can develop faults quite easily and he's had to replace quite a few of them, wish I could find the source now- I take the info with a pinch of salt, but I found this out after I sent it back for a refund.
