Amazon selling it for £266.99 and there is no free DVD player with Amazon one.

Couple of people have complained about the narrow viewing angle but haven't heard the same from most of the buyers.

Yes, sound in not as great as you would expect but great for a small room.

At this price with Free DVD player and Free 5 Years warranty and Odeon/LoveFilm Subscription, I would say the best deal for an 32" full HD TV.

Wow. This is truly an amazing price. Wish I had the dosh for this. Sell the DVD player on ebay for a tenner or so and include 3% quidco and you're talking £240 for a FullHD, Freeview HD Toshiba! Stunning!

Are Play definitely one of the participating retailers doing the 5 year warranty?

Can't find any info

Not sure about it but you can email Toshiba asking if Play.com is a participating reseller or not.

I've read couple of reviews and most of them were pretty happy and didn't notice much of motion blur.

I'll give em a ring in the morning. I don't think they're involved from what I've read elsewhere. A thread on AVforums says Amazon aren't anyway.

Quidco tracked at £1.27 for me.

Got this TV a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic picture quality. Must have a really strong signal to get the freeview HD channels though so you really need a top quality aerial if your in a weaker signal area. But if I hadn't got one already, I wouldn't be typing this...I would be punching my details into Play.com.

Nice deal, got a 32LG7000 back in Xmas '08 when they briefly sold for £250. Gonna sell and replace with this.

I've had this TV for about two years now and I'm extremely happy with it! 1080p, 4 HDMI sockets, great quality sound. I've not used the Freeview though, I have Sky HD instead. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the last of Swap button on the remote. My TV before it had that, and it came in useful for switching between two channels quickly. I'd use it for gaming and TV. Also, there's no dedicated button for choosing an AV or HDMI channel, you just have the one button that scrolls through them all. But overall, it's a cracking TV and a steal at that price. I paid £400 for mine!

Just ordered this from supplied link...There was no mention of FREE DVD PLAYER ???
I expected it to appear at point of Deal Completion .....
It didn`t come up thern either..
It did draw referance to a Toshiba DVD player RRP £49.99 being available for £32.99 ???
Hopefully will receive a Freebie DVD player when delivered ????
Still hot deal though ..

Does anyone know what the lovefilm package is like? I will mainly be using this with an acer revo, so I'd be interested in streaming films. Is it unlimited or are their restrictions on how much you can download?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's just the price were you to buy the DVD player. The page is just showing you what DVD player is free.

This is an LCD too, it's just it has an LED backlight which means it uses less power than a traditional LCD.

Real LED TVs or OLED TVs cost thousands of pounds and use even less electricity than LED backlit LCDs.

Here's an OLED TV. It's not very big though!
http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?hl=en&xhr=t&q=oled&cp=4&safe=off&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=14942441594629065085&ei=LSZeTY36GoyIhQfb0vjjDQ&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=4&sqi=2&ved=0CEEQ8wIwAw#

As you can see they're pretty thin.

Hot, just bought one for mother in law.
Anyone know if you can track large order from play, who do they use for parcels of this size,
reason i ask is that i probably wont be in and will therefore have to go pick up from a depot.

add both to your basket and the dvd player is free. if you didn't maybe you can cancel and reorder?

play do a 28 day warranty after that they refer you direct to manufacturer - Google it if you don't believe me. wouldn't buy any expensive tech from play.

Thanks for that. Cancelled and reordered. They really should make that a little clearer as it's not that obvious.

It keeps that price for the dvd player, but reduces the prices of the tv accordingly so the overall price is the same.
#32
Sorry just double checked and the dvd player goes through at £1.99 and the tv reduces down to £253, I did it in a bit of a rush last night, as was going to do the Amazon deal anyway, so this was a hell of a deal.

Although specs don't say it, picture seems to indicate a USB slot so hoping it'll play divx from an external drive. No loss if not, as the £10 original saving was good enough, let alone the extra dvd player.
#33
Am I doing something wrong - When I follow the link it goes to the correct TV but it is showing as £378, even when I get to checkout level. Expired?

Might go for the Amazon one. Almost the same cost and who needs DVD player if it has DLNA.

I got the same cancellation email aswell, I order yesterday aswell.

So unsure if they are cancelling all orders or not.

Now just to decide whether to order from Amazon or not.
#38
Play cancelled with me too. Back to Amazon...
#39
I received a cancellation email too this morning. Thought it was too good to be true.

Costs £324.99 now.. and magically back in stock, contrary to their email.

They must employ Liberal Democrat MPs to publish these deals and send out these messages.
