I searched around and found it on a google banner. It says it was only valid this week, so not sure when the end date is. Maybe Friday, Sat, Sun?

Can't you call them and ask for the reduction. Gotta be worth a try!

Hot price for a decent branded 37" and 5 year warranty. Maybe now all the people whining about vistrons not being hot just because they are cheap will see why they got the cold votes. (Not knocking Vistron, just rather have a Toshiba)

According to the reviews it doesn't have an on/off button.

We have a 26" Toshiba with no on/off button and it's a damn nuisance remembering to turn it off at the wall.

Just ordered mine....the price has come further down...Payed only £355.99 with the five year warranty....
#7
huh? how - still showing £399 with the code for me.
#8
me too, £399 ! not that is a bad price but £355 better

I paid £391 for the model up from this about a month ago (XV 1080p), I suppose it's still a warm deal though.

laze

Come on, that's just taunting....where?

Never mind...just got a call from them...they tell me it was an error and offered me a next day delivery if I paid £399.99....still thinking what to do...any suggestions??:?
#12
Agreed to their proposal of a next day delivery @ 399.99....so finally bought it:) Heat and rep for the OP added...

Looks a great deal - the credit crunch doesn't seem to be resulting in very cheap electronics.

I reckon I might be following your lead.
#14
I have never heard of this company and a bit wary of ordering from places I don't know. Are they reliable?

Any suggestions for a cheap stand for the tv??

Rubbish deal - It was only a few weeks ago that Sainsburys was selling the 1080p version (37XV5xxDB) of this TV for £391.

Yes, that was a good deal indeed, though it did not include a 5yr warranty as this one does AND unfortunately now sold out everywhere. So if you have any better CURRENT deals, them please share.

Verdict

By the standards of LCD TVs in general, Toshiba's 37CV505DB is nothing particularly special. Put in the context of its extraordinarily low price point, though, it's actually remarkably good value - so much so that it ought to appeal not just to the 37in market but to people who thought they only had enough money to afford a 32in!

So tempted to get this,i've been saving up for a decent tv for the bedroom and this looks great, just a bit unsure whether to hang on and see if prices will come down further on tv's!

Oh trust me - they will, same as all electrical/computer equipment. Just buy one and enjoy it, never again looking at the prices - until next time of course.

Is this site ok to order from? Anyone used them before?

Cheers :)

I've taken the plunge and ordered this!

Oh, One thing, I wouldn't bother with paying for speedy delivery. I opted for the free 5 day service this morning and I just received a tracking number showing 'Next Day Delivery'

Cool!

I am also looking for a 37-42 inch tv and this is a very good price. only thing is, its a company i never heard of and what happens if in this current recession it goes bust? does that mean the 5 yrar warranty will be worthless or is the warranty direct wid toshiba?

Very tempted but gonna hold out another week or two for a full HD one. Good deal though, cheapest good make 37" around at the moment I reckon. My local richer sound is selling a 37" LG with a similar spec for £400 but the Toshiba just sounds better than LG. (I'm such a brand ***** I know!)

Thanks...bought the one from tesco...

Voted Warm. Hardly a bargain, but a good price.
