Stunning price for this stunning TV (own one myself).

I get all my codes from here:

http://www.lcd-tv-deals.co.uk/

Most TV's (not all) will have a Curry's discount code attached.

If codes aren't working (for the Toshiba), maybe they've cottoned on to it as they were working when I posted this. ;-)

It's still updating the basket to £979.00 ok.
Tempted to try order one though I'm wondering if the prices will crash even further with the pending release of the WLT68 series.

The 32WLT66 is £899 minus 10% = £809 or am I missing something?

Use the code 190546CF to reduce it to £699 and then use 10% to reduce it further.

Don't forget Quidco as well.

Tolgak you are a legend - Finally got it to work at £629.99.

I've been looking for an LCD for my new house for about 6 months and this one was at the top of my list. Going to commit to buy now.

Many Thanks - Rep +

I've been after this set for ages at a reasonable price, and £630 is it.

Unfortunately, it's showing as out of stock for my postcode . . . :x (£698 delivered is the cheapest elsewhere)
[admin]#14
Is there a separate thread for the 32WLT66? I don't think so.. Do you want to post one tolgak as I think some people will miss it otherwise and it is a very good deal.

Thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. :)

Ah kill two birds with two stones, we've got lots of forum space and stones :D

But not that many birds...

Even though it's the same TV at different prices, you can actually get it cheaper from currys using the combination of discount codes in the first post :) HTH

Also, have a question for those in the know.

The 3xWLT66 looks good but the 3xWL66 ones are around £100 cheaper.

Given the T is just a freeview tuner and given that they're trailing "Freeview HD" in London at the moment. Wwould it be a waste of cash to go for the T version or is it likely that standard Freeview boxes will be compatible with the Freeview HD that's on the way?
#21
I'm a bit confused..
How much is the 32 inch in total?
&
How much is the 37 inch in total?

Thanks

Someone correct me if I'm wrong :D

is this toshiba lcd tv upward/downward tiltable?
#24
Good find! The boyfriend was looking at buying the 42inch version but the price on this swayed him .. he just bought the 37inch and now has funds left over that we were expecting to go on a TV. Excellent, thanks a lot :-D

Looks like a good deal to me. I've just tried entering the Currys 10% off voucher but it says it has expired. Am I doing something wrong-ie does anyone else get it to work? Or has it just genuinely expired overnight? Any other money off vouchers for Currys out there? Thanks for any comments.

The 32" TV is available at several sites for under £600. If you go to Dealtime(through Quidco) and search for Toshiba 32" LCD it throughs up quite a few. the lowest I saw was £574.00
I think a new model must be due out imminantly.

You're right, but that's probably the model without builtin freeview.
The one in question here is the 32WLT66....

I've seen one in full flow in my local Comet.

Not only stunning picture and sound, stunning looks as well (and 3 HDMI's to boost).

Be a while before the price of these tumble. :-D

Tasty! Almost glad I didn't submit my order for the "66" in the end :)
Now I just have to wait for this one to drop to £629 - and so the viscious cycle goes on, lol.

the codes only worked for me when i inputted them in a specific order. I had to do the 10% off one first then the one in this thread :)
#37
10% code was only valid of the weekend, it has now expired

I just had a call from Currys and they said that they have cancelled the order as none in stock and are not expecting any soon.
I could not debate this as they left a message on my mobile!
Anyone else have a similar problem?
I ordered mine late Sunday.

The usual Dixons/Currys get out clause? :x :whistling:

I wonder if they would be out of stock/cancelled order if you would have paid full price for it.

Just checked, and in stock for my area .

Currys cancelled my order too. Just spoke to them by phone and they were most unhelpful. Got absolutely nowhere with them. Why do they not give customers 48-hours to get back to them to verify credit card details (why do they need verification anyway?, they (DSGi) should be able to make all of the necessary payment and delivery checks electronically. No other mail order company that i'm aware of insists on these checks and subsequently cancels orders) as opposed to 24-hours where the chances are a voicemail is missed or otherwise not responded to quicky enough. Another DSGi get out clause I think. Placing another order is all well and good but the discount code has expired and no doubt the same problems will occur. Not worth the hassle unless a mobile number is left and then they probably cancel as it's not registered with the credit card company. Good discounts offered by DSGi - yes. Good level of customer service - no (IMHO).
