Good TV - Good Price :)

Not a bad TV set but you can get better

Contrast ratio is quite porr, so you wont get deep blacks and white whites.

Also the scanning is poor, which mean that when watching fast action ( sports, action films) the action on the screen will look blurred. Which can be very annoying.

For £50 extra you can buy a very good TV with good contrats ratio and scanning

What is the example of such a better TV for £50 more? I am going to buy a new TV for myself.

Quality TV but £100 more! I have the Sony Bravia 40" (Freeview HD incorporated not sure if this is the same model number) and can only praise it in every department. Sure if you've got £450 to spare go for the LG, however the Sony for £350 is a bargain IMHO :)

The contrast ratio's are a waste of time as there is no standardization with them. I'll give you the 100hz though. Having said that it's not always best.

Do you work for richer sounds or something???
#20
I'm still gutted I missed the Sony Woolworths LCS last week :(, but this is a good proce for the Tosh
#21
i have one, it broke 2 weeks out of warranty so i wont be replacing it with this. tv repair guy told me this set has an in built weakness with the 'micro-connectors' basically it means that after x amount of time you will have lines down your screen that will gradually get worse.

is this essentially the same tv ? if so, a 5 yr guarantee for less than £35 extra sounds like a better deal. below is the richer sounds stock check for this tv incase anyone is interested including store, store number and quantity.
