How is it possible that the following 2 specs apply simultaneously: a. Internet Capability: YES, b. No Ethernet or SMART capabilities???
No DLNA, No Freeview HD is a bummer for me.

While buying from eBay is not the same as buying from amazon directly it is cheaper on ebay new with warrenty

I bought this a month ago from ebay for about £200. Use it solely for my PS3 blu ray and a few games(red dead redemption, Uncharted 2 and 3 and Max Payne 3). I have to say the picture quality is fantastic and great for games as well. People are complaining about the sound on forums etc but I have no idea why - the sound is perfectly fine for a big lounge area like mine. It's not tinny at all. Incase you're wondering I have 2 Samsung HD TVs as well.(37in and 42inch new models). Samsung is better but this isn't far out.

And i'm not sure what this vestel business is about, this is a good TV.

Because it is made by Vestel, that's why.

Cheap TV's aren't all bad. You get what you pay for at the end of the day.

This TV would still be great for viewing stuff in HD
