Been watching this and was this price at Amazon for most of the past 4 weeks. Bought mine at John Lewis for £399.99 with 5yr Warranty in the end. JL were out of stock when I last checked and Amazon sells it cheapest at the moment (with standard 1yr warranty).
Good TV & HD picture although only 50 hertz. HD freeview is very good and mine surprisingly works with only a very small loop aerial that was removed from the top of my old 14 or 16 inch TV. Picks up more channels than my old standard freeview set top box. My 4.5yrs old plasma does a better job at the standard digital/ cable picture quality though.
If you buy this don't forget to claim for either claim for either free Lovefilm subscription or Odeon 12 months Free cinema tickets for two people. If claimed this means the cost of TV comes down to about £200-£220 with the Odeon tickets.

Heat...

Just paid £349 for the Tosh 32RV753DB with Freeview HD from John Lewis. Ok, I know I could have got it £50 odd cheaper, but a five year warranty is a five year warranty....

I have the 37" version. It buzzes if the backlight is too low. Crank it up and the buzz goes.

Yeah, I had the 37" version, but I couldn't cope with the buzz, which still appeared on a dark image, even with the backlight cranked up to full.

I've just read some of the Amazon reviews, one of which says that this set buzzes too. Seems to be a common problem with quite a few recent sets.

Great deal for a great TV!

Received mine today - not had time to put it through it's paces but it looks good on first viewing. No buzzing as yet.

Good stuff - don't forget to claim your free cinema tickets or Lovefilm membership.

I'm starting to think that noticing the buzzing is dependent on the sensitivity of people's ears. Maybe I am just tuned into the wrong frequency......?

NO.
I was worried about the buzzing after reading reviews. So far have NOT noticed any buzzing from my set at all.

Checked this one out on which who do not rate it very highly 53% does not merit a best buy in their view! The samsung posted recently is a best buy on which so would appear to be a better deal. I still can't make up my mind on what to go for!! I had planned to go for the Sony 403 from JL but missed the deal between xmas and new year. Too many choices has anyone got the definitive answer on the best deal?????

What didn't Which like about it ? If it's mainly to do with the sound I could live with it as I use an AV sound system but if it's the picture quality then no thanks.
Pretty tempting deal with the 12 month films offer.

Any idea why this ends up taking me to: https://www.toshibalaptoptradein.co.uk/Tradein/mainpages/welcome.aspx?web=8 when you click register. I've just bought one of the qualifiying TVs but the offer doesn't seem to work?? :)

Edit: Use this link if you want to register for free Lovefilm :)This Link

Thanks Parlivus. I also found the web link takes you to the wrong place. Your link is the right one.

Don't forget that the link is only for the promotion (I went for the Odean tickets). To register fir warranty, you have to go to http://www.toshiba.co.uk/registration
