Thanks for your post  Just did a quick google and found:

£749.99 @ Laskys
Plus £18.50 (ish) Cashback from Quidco

Not sure if it can be found cheaper than that as I've not looked :)

Had one of these, the picture was terrible, bought a plasma (Samsung PS42Q97HDX) instead and it's infinitely better than the Tosh LCD, despite not being 1080p. Buyer beware, you can get the Sammy plasma for the same price and trust me the picture on the plasma is miles better than this.

i've got this TV and the picture is fine?
#8
You might think it is but until you see the difference you won't know what I mean. I wouldn't touch one of these sets with a bargepole
#9

You must have had a bad one mine is a brilliant picture and a tv engineer told me forget plasma they get very hot and burn out after a few years they also use a lot more elctric.Wouldn't touch a plasma myself.

This is just nonsense - hope the same engineer doesn't repair TVs for a living. Have a look at www.avforums.com - the life of a modern plasma panel is not "a few years" and most of the home cinema enthusiasts would pick plasma over LCD on the larger panels for picture quality. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with LCD but if you think plasma is inferior you are mistaken. The comments regarding heat and electricity are probably true though.
