Yes I know but once you add it to your basket it asks for you postcode and then it tells you its out of stock.

So its still geographically based although 'online'.

553 and 555 references are purely cosmetic, no 'real' spec difference. In fact, not much cosmetic difference either

Fantastic TVs. I have the RV (100Hz) model but apart from that no great difference. I don't have anything graphically magical like XBOX or PS3 but understand they are superb on this. I connect my laptop to it and the display is shockingly good.

No you're not going mad it was there. It hit about 87 degrees but has disappeared presumably as there were none left in stock. Tried to order at about 4pm and there were none left then!

Top man. (takes pencils out of nostrils)

I'm searching for a 42 lcd or plasma and just cant decide between the Samsung 456/7, these Toshibas or the Panny PX80. Budget of 500-550 or 600 at a push.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

no contest- panny PX80 is the best reasonably priced TV on the market

have some heat for a good spot. true, it may not be widely available due to the usual dixons/currys/pcworld carry on but someone might get lucky

Added fine to my basket when I put in a Bracknell, berkshire postcode but did say delivery expected within 28days.
#17
Dixons 'delivery expected within 28 days' = We don't have any, we aren't getting any and you won't be getting one.

If it's as good a picture as the Toshiba 37XV553DB I bought a couple of weeks ago, anyone who finds one of these would have bagged themselves a really good LCD TV IMO. Xbox 360 games also look fantastic in 1080p game mode using the exact scan 1:1 pixel mapping option.
