TV itself can be had from Currys for £619 if you enter CODE30 at check-out for £30 Off.

The DVD is worth around £45, making this a decent deal if you want both.

Up to 4% cashback from Currys and 3% from Comet.

Ah that's a shame but currys didn't have one in stock near me and I wanted to pick up myself . I don't think curry offers the DVD player with it though so ten quid for that has got to be worth it .
@ redsquirrel

What do you think of it ? We'll be getting either the 42XV or 42ZV next week with a bit of luck .......

seems pretty good . The tv itself looks great , it's a very good looking tv and has lots of inputs etc. HD quality is very good and sd looked fine to be honest .
Not voting either way, but don't be encouraged to buy this just because of the upscaling DVD player. Your TV probably has better upscaling filters built in anyway, so you'd probably be as well just letting your TV handle the job.
Its now down to £617.49 if you use the code 5500AW, plus the free up scaling dvd player:-D I hope it is good, i just bought one.
I've now got the 42XV635 and its a great bit of kit :)

Sound isn't fantastic but we run it through a 5.1 external amp anyway (through the optical link on the back of the TV).

Picture is very good once you've got it set up correctly and at only 25Kg its not a monster to lift either. I've also watched a few DivX movies through the USB socket on it and it supports DivX VOD :D

Fantastic TV.
