  Bought the 40" version a while ago when it was £399 and I was a bit disappointed, it is very average as a TV with few image options. Does not come with glasses, which cost about £60 per pair, you can get universal 3D glasses from amazon for about £30 but the 3D was absolute s***t. Tried several 3D games and blue rays on my PS3 and although the 3D works, you can barely tell the difference between that and 2D and your wondering why you're wearing the glasses in the first place. Not sure if it's the unofficial glasses I got, since the reviews for them are high and they work just fine but don't care to spend any more to find out.
  Bottom line, good price for a massive 46" LED internet enabled TV, but if you're looking to try the 3D, don't bother, spend a bit more and get one of those Panasonic deals that are going on. Also there's sever light bleeding on mine when the pictures all black.

  Have read some rather poor reviews regarding heavy motion blur on Polish AV forum, where this set comes from and thus is popular there. It's a class down comparing to Sony, Panasonic or Samsung in my opinion, so good buy when price is the main factor, but not when picture quality is.

  Unless you specifically want 3D, I'd say this isn't a great purchase.
  Could get a vastly better 2D Panasonic 50" for just £80 more.

  Thanks for that. I can't decide on a panasonic tx-p46st30 for £549 on dixons or this tv . I see this tv only gets average reviews but the 5 yr warranty is almost tempting me to it. Anyone else who owns this toshiba want to try and convince me?

  My son has the 40" version. The picture is excellent and the sound is very good for such a slim tv. The frame is very thin, just slightly bigger than the top of the range Samsungs. All in all this is a good stylish television at a remarkable price. 5 year guarantee, Freeview HD, Wifi dongle around £30! I had no hesitation in ordering one as soon as I saw the offer.

  I have this. It does have Optical out, has Freeview AND Freesat (but no EPG for this).
  
  Superb in HD, not so good for SD.
