So you'd rather believe a scrapper blog on Blogpost for a £700 purchase hey. I'd rather get an advice from the dodgy guy down the pub.

If I had the money I'd buy one. Shame I spent £380 on a 50-inch HD Ready Pany from Very.

One word.........Crap!!......:whistling:

And you say this based on what exactly!!!!

If you mean the current crop of so-called LED TVs, they are not so bad, after all they are really LCD TVs with better backlighting (either edge-mounted or rear-mounted LED backlighting). The LED backlighting enhances the LCD picture to extremely good levels for most types of viewing (except perhaps movies).

My current preference is Plasma, because of all-round performance.

Once the OLED are available in larger screens, they will be phenomenal.

So I fail to see where your, 'One word .... Crap!!... ' statement comes from.

great find, pity I haven't got the cash lol

Personally I'm gonna wait until this TV is 52p, that way it works out as 1p per inch. I'm also going to wait until all Internet trolls are extinct.

The human eye cant recognise anything above 60hz, so no.

The 100hz/200hz/400hz tvs are all marketting babble, the only thing extra it does is reduce motion blur on LCD tv's, but if you want a TV without motion blur then your best off going for plasma anyway.

Will still have better picture than this LCD.

Resolution is only one factor in quality, and only about 3rd most important in most studies.

"“This is the stuff of picture-perfectionists’ nightmares. The motion depiction, contrast ratio, and 24p playback all fall short of true home-cinema standards.” "

yeah - as I said - wait for LED
