I've got 2 in use on my DSLR and occasional dashcams, they are fine at the moment..

Would this be faster or slower than 'SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card' for use in a GoPro?
#8
How do these compare against the Sandisk Extreme cards?

Will this be any good for recording 4k on my phone?

Also what's the quickest way of getting 26gb on another micro SD onto a new one.... two card readers and a laptop?

Some laptops already have a SD card reader, you need a microSD to SD adapter.

And you need a USB 3.0 card reader.

should be fine for 4k

I have the 128GB U3 version.

The sequential write speed is just around 30MB/s.

To think these were nearly hitting £10 only a few months ago. Retailers up everything because of Brexit even though it has no affect on this stock.

I bought the 64GB for my 4K Thieye Action Cam and had a number of issues with the performance of the card. It didn't meet the performance levels and so sent it back. The replacement was the same. I may have been unlucky but having tested both cards with various software, the both under performed.

Pound is down, costs are up. Inflation is up. Things are going to get even more expensive soon enough.

Thanks leave voters. Cracking job

Not everything is brexit, looks like it is due to supply chain price increases, as these were £10 at the turn of the year and early December, well after the pound dropped.

I was looking around for the best option for the galaxy s8, and if you have amazon prime now (I live in Londond E14) , you can pick up the 128GB Exceria Toshiba M302 micro sd for £37.89 ( you could ofcourse also use a new account, and spend £50 in total to get £20 off with the code LONDONNOW , but I've used it twice before and didnt bother with it), could deal imo, and almost instant delivery.

Do not buy the 128GB U1.

Last time I bought U1 Toshiba card, 9-10MB/s write speed, even below the minimum speed required to claim U1.

And the price is bad too for a U1 card.

That would be existing stock already under purchase agreements and likely on base in the UK. Electronic goods are normally priced in $ the countries and people's purchasing power and net worth has dropped because of brexit and prices will be going up. Electronic goods normally drop in price fast and get faster too we are yet to see catch up through technology gains overtaking our currency weakness. I voted remain (studied economics) hold a lot of my net worth overseas. I also worry a lot less about people coming here to work with our aging population that needs a stronger tax paying base. Plus the weather here is rubbish would rather retire somewhere dryer/hotter. If our pound is worth enough.

funny looking at the comments sd cards micro or otherwise are very hit and miss. These exceria ones have never skipped a beat for me whereas my microsd graveyard is chock full of sandisk. I used to only buy transcend until i couldn't get one to work on something so switched brands and never looked back!

Sandisk have a good 5-year guarantee, which unfortunately I've had to use.

Ha, yes i have also unfortunately had to use it was well. And although no one wants a failed card they did get too it pretty quick and didn't give me much hassle at all. I gave away the replacement though, once burned i move on,
