I have a A200 but lower spec - this includes reasonable dedicated graphics card unlike the L300 offer posted recently and a built in webcam AND card reader. Had mine 6 months and been very happy with it up till now. If I'd seen this I would have bought instead apart from mine having 2 years warranty (John Lewis).

Can anyone explain why they are voting cold? I know this is a rework but much better spec than the L300 recently listed.

Well personally i would buy this http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/291576/hp-6735s-laptop-amd-turion-x2-dual-/ better processor, more ram, bigger hard drive, equal graphics, better brand (not saying toshiba is bad just saying hp is better) and this is not a recon so def worth the extra £20

How AMD Turion is a better mobile processor?

Just going on the benchmark test results. Also op pointed out that this machine is "much" better machine than the L300 posted here http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/290101/toshiba-satellite-l300-19y-3gb-15-4/ but it is not really, again the L300 has a better processor, same ram, same HDD and the only place it falls down compared to this machine is graphics but the dedicated graphics on this machine are really nothing to shout about and the comet machine is again not a recon so hotter than this one

I think it boils down to who is looking at the deals at a given time.:whistling: - posted prior to curofone

Graphics aren't too bad, certainly notice the difference compared to desktop without. Thanks for your feedback curofone.

244' Toshiba new but lower spec (no card reader, webcam or the aforementioned graphics card & comparable performance)

I do not get why you think this toshiba is a much better spec that the L300 becuase it is simply not, seriously the graphics 2400 graphics card is pretty much the worst dedicated mobile graphics card on the market, take a look at the benchmark tests. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html. Out of the 2 toshibas i would go for the L300.

As for the hp refurb, it is a better spec than the toshiba you found, again better processor, same RAM, bigger HDD, better graphics and 17" screen and they cost quite a bit more than 15" screens, so again worth the extra couple of quid

Thanks curofone again for the feedback - as I tried to explain our responses 'crossed'. When I bought my A200 the graphics card was by no means the worst and better than none at all. OK all we have played is SIMS2 but this runs so much better than the previous PC. I guess serious gamers would have desktops anyway. Re. L300 - some people seemed to want a card reader which this has - not a big deal really but that's what they said and overall this is a good package.

I just don't think this deal is cold unless people don't like Morgan Computers.

I agree that the dediacted graphics in this machine are better than none and are better than the l300 graphics but considering this is a recon machine i dont see how it is worth an extra £22 considering that it the processor is actually a bit weaker in this machine.

Both of these machines would be very weak gaming machines but then again neither of these machines of desgined for that purpose
