Heads up, the toshiba blu ray is available from 6pm tonight via the bestbuy website, however if you go via the http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/metro link you can purchase it NOW for £49.99 delivered, 10% quidco as well.

Dont think its going to be the best blu ray on the market but for £47.50 after quidco , i think its a bargain for a branded player.
The Toshiba BDX2100 Blu-ray player delivers cutting edge home entertainment with excellent image and sound quality in a modern and sophisticated design, and offers a range of great interactive features.
The BDX2100 offers a range of great extra content via BD-Live (Profile 2.0), as well as picture-in-picture capability with Bonus View. By plugging into your home network via Ethernet, you can access a range of interactive content including cast and crew interviews, making-ofs, live chats, games and competitions.
You'll be able to watch films as the director intended on the Toshiba BDX2100 Blu-ray player, as it offers Full-HD 1080p playback with cinematic 24 frames per second capability. Films will sound as great as they look too, as the BDX2100 offers DTS-HD Master Audio to deliver every bit of audio information from the original master recording for rich, detailed sound.
Meanwhile, Dolby TrueHD - immerses you in sound by delivering audio that is every bit as spectacular as the original. It lets you experience the full potential of Blu-ray, and is even ready for future HD delivery formats.
As well as Blu-ray discs, the Toshiba BDX2100 can play DivX media files as standard, via a USB socket that will also allow you to play MP3 music files and enjoy your JPEG photo collection.

Shame I missed out on this.

It does appear there are some issues with some MKV files, but this link should upgrade the firmware to handle them better?

This is in stock, I think in Thurrock. I've been checking this all day and it just showed as available for home delivery. I was able to order mine and I checked back after and saw that they were out of stock for delivery again. So I'm feeling pretty lucky, but it's worth checking the page if you want this. Deal doesn't end until 3 January, so keep an eye on it!

Did anyone get theirs cancelled? I got an email on Monday saying mine had been cancelled at my request which it wasn't.

I have tried contacting them but as yet no response. The money had gone out of my account as well, I am so mad, so soonforgotten, it may have been the one I ordered you got if they only had 1 in stock.

Have you spoke to anyone from BB yet? If it was their mistake, I can't see why they wouldn't honour the deal. I'd be very surprised if they could get one sent out to you.

I have received mine today and tested with a bluray disc, Working great.

I tried my hard drive that I have full of movies I use on the PS3 in a folders named Video, Music and Photo's. The folders show up but the files inside do not?.

I am downloading the update now to see if that helps, I will also try a movie on my usb stick without it being in a folder.

I would have had mine delivered also except D.H.L. (Dumbass Hopelessly Lost) tried to deliver to wrong address and sent it back to the depot, which means it won't get to me now until next Wednesday. 3rd time this has happened with DHL. Needless to say I swore a lot on the phone to them. Idiots.

Did this update easy now all working from hard drive great. Shame there is only one usb port as had to use a usb to mains connector to power my portable hdd. No big deal though.

If this comes on sale again I would be buying another one.

Arrived today, flashed it with latest update. Playing my mkv files no problems

Nah, it's not. It's been like that ever since I snagged the one random one that popped up as available for home delivery. None of the stores have actually had any in stock for quite while now.
