*Sigh*. It is £179.99 for a cheap everyday laptop - it's not going to land you on the bloody moon! Obviously it won't be good for extremely demanding uses, but everyday 'basic' things? It's worth a punt for some people.

If it turns out to be a pile of crap, just take it back.

it's not going to land you on the bloody moon!.

Actually, it's several orders of magnitude more powerful than the computers that managed to land people on the moon..!

Heat for what is a basic laptop for basic use at a bargain price.

I bought one yesterday, and I'm not going to deny anything, it is slow, so slow that the mouse pointer does lag at times (I think a lot of people were confused when they wrote a review on Argos' website saying their mousepad is broken).

However, if you intend to use it as a laptop to carry around with you, it's good for writing documents, watching videos and using the internet, just don't expect it to run any games or use it for 1080p video editing.

Seriously slow as mentioned above. Why get a laptop that even lags when just using the mouse?

The problem being the awful AMD processor in these is just not up to the task. You would be much better off with one of the intel based systems that are always around this price. They are quicker and will give you a much smoother feeling laptop for every day tasks. Sporry op, cold.

Hi Guys,

Just one opinion. My flatmate bought this laptop. I helped setted up for him.
Humm, the Windows on it not runs smoothly, really often the mouse cursor sucked on the screen.
We take back to Argos for refund money,
But light weight good point, not removable battery and no DVD drive bad point
So I not recommend this laptop

Please don't buy this.
